Hm, so, new and a bit confused, is the FG&RP section more for freeform, while the RTD section is for GMs, dice rolling, and such?

The forum game section is for forum games in general, from freeform ones to D&D and other structured games. The RTD subsection is for a specific and popular type of forum game known as Roll to Dodge, which uses only a d6 and a few modifiers to resolve everything. If you're not sure where a game should go, it should probably be in the FG&RP forum instead of the RTD one.
