Yeah actually looking at the reddits I think this might actually be good for the lore. A lot of people are coming up for explanations of what happened ranging from simple majoras mask parodies to Red and Aj showing up in spirit to lend moral support.

Though I guess we still have to beat Steven too. Though pretty much everything of his is weak to M4, so he's probably going to be a joke compared to the Elite Four.

I think the stream ends after the Elite Four go down. At least, that's the big milestone everyone's focusing on. We went for Red in Crystal because he was the end boss of the entire Kanto region.

Then again, we might go for it if the streamer gives us time...

The randomizer is a powerful thing, especially when you have no control over which of the starters actually gets picked. We could start with a Kyogre... or give him to our rival and grab a Magikarp.

Let's just hope it isn't a Fire-type. We don't have good luck with Fire-type starters.

I think I heard somewhere that the streamer picked the checkmark on the randomizer so that starters will all be the first form of 3-stage mons.

Sadly, that rules out getting Omanyte as a starter.

Wonder if that includes pokemon who only evolve through certain conditions for their third form?

Eh, that's reasonable. Depending on the randomizer's other features (does it bypass trade evolutions like the Crystal hack?), we could get an Abra, or a Pidgey, or a Bellsprout...
