Well, Marill saved the day by using water gun against the rock trainer, only to have it overwritten at the end of the battle due to level up. No more super effective water.

Marill ftw!

Eh, rollout aint bad. I forget if it's automatically used in succession or you have to pick it each time... eh, we got a badge!

Not that it matters as much anymore. The next leader who's weak against water is Flannery. That's still way ahead.

Exactly; it served its purpose. :P

Not that there is any purpose to be found. All hail the PC-box pointlessness merry-go-round.
They've been in it for most of the past 6 hours now. ;_;

The past 2 hours or so, they have managed to withdraw and deposit mons until they have gone back to just having Marill. >_<
It's like those claw games at the mall, except you pay with previous winnings, rather than quarters.

Rollout is automatic after the first use, until it hits 5 times or misses. It's a very good move to have, even more so if the marill has huge power. Or does it have thick fat?

It, unfortunately, has thick fat for its ability.

Every dwarf, every dwarven man, women, and child, that comes to our forts will die there; it's truly sad when you think about it. And we ask our selves, why? Why do we push forward, knowing this fate, that we are destined for failure? Because, this game grasps the concept of mortality. Some games you can never lose, but we all stop eventually, causing a 'death' to those game's 'worlds'. Dwarf Fortress gives us a definite end, knowing that we will leave that world eventually, and move on to more.

I've been seeing it as playing the slots. We're pulling the arm and coming out with whatever random lineup that it stops at. The constant shifting between boxes really adds to the effect.

Unless democracy is instituted sometime later for a hard part I don't see us coming up with a "standard" core team. I foresee even more grinding in the future.

Here we go for another gym attempt.

EDIT: Wow, that was quite the hax Makuhita pulled off. Makuhita was the only mon left and Zexy pecked him down to 1hp before getting seismic tossed vitally thrown back to the pokemon center.

Sweet. We won. I think.

EDIT: If they change the secret phrase, it will be yet another meme.

MOAREDIT: You know what, GOOD BIKE will be a meme if they don't anyway.

This generation is... wow. I'm just really loving it so far. The removal of democracy really has worked out for the best so far, and the lore that's come up is amazing, and the PC switching failures, hahah, oh man. The break between gens was definitely a good thing as well.

Welp, this is what I've been reduced to. I tried to explain that we needed writers that were effective, brief, witty, and passionate. But those seem to be in short supply, so I've had to step up to the plate and give it a try, even though I'm sure my attempts at invoking all the emotions, from humour to passion to whatever the emotion is that happens when you see a turtle eating a strawberry.

Without further adieu, I present the final scene of...

Burrito OTP Xatu
[Burrito Enters]

RJ(Normal) "Great Teacher Xatu! You said you wished to see me?"
XATU (Normal Expression) "..."
RJ(Blush) "I'm sorry, Great Teacher Xatu! I was distracted last night, a shade out of sorts... "
XATU(Normal Expression) "..."
RJ(Abashed) I laughed nervously
RJ(Abashed) "I was thinking... about how I wanted to talk to you."
RJ(Blush) "Great Teacher Xatu... what do you think of me?"
XATU (Normal Expression) "..."
RJ (Blush) "I... I just wanted to let you know, you are the best teacher I ever had, Great Teacher Xatu."
RJ (Blush, moves closer) "You've been more than a teacher. You've been a friend, when I needed one..."
RJ You didn't have to be a psychic to understand what I was feeling right then - my thoughts were obvious on my face
RJ(Blush, moves closer) "... and I think I want you to be more ..."

GOOD END

[Background flashes Pink]
[Closeup, Xatu, Normal Expression]
[Closeup, Xatu, Eyes Closed, looks down]
[Closeup, RJ smiles]
RJ (Smiling) "Oh, Xatu! Yes! I do love you! Did you see this future when we first met?"
XATU (Normal Expression) "..."
RJ (Smiling) "I don't care about anyone else! When I first saw you, I was confused by what I felt... But now I understand!"
RJ (Hugging Xatu) "This. This moment. This is every wish I've ever had come true! Xatu... I choose you! And you... you choose me too!"
Epilogue A relationship between a student and a teacher... it shouldn't have worked, but it did. It was as if we always knew what the other person was thinking - nothing was hidden, even if nothing was said. We kept it quiet for a while, but after I graduated, Xatu left her job and we found a place together. I'm happier than I could have ever thought possible, and I can't help but look fondly back on the day I first set on my lovely, amazing, dependable Great Teacher Xatu.

NEUTRAL END

[Background flashes Blue]
[Closeup, Xatu, Normal Expression]
[Closeup, Xatu, Eyes Closed, looks down]
[Closeup, RJ Crying]
XATU (Normal Expression) "..."
RJ (Crying) "Oh! Great Teacher Xatu, you're right. I don't know what I was thinking. When I first saw you, I thought I saw a future with you... but I was new, confused! A student and a teacher?"
RJ (Crying) I wished I could have teleported home, right then, but Xatu made it clear I should stay.
XATU (Normal Expression) "..."
RJ (Wipes away tears) "You're right. I should concentrate on graduating. Yes, I'll... I'll try. Thank you, Great Teacher Xatu, for... for always being there. I'm sorry..."
XATU (Raises Wing, RJ Moves closer, gives hug)
Epilogue I buried my feelings for Xatu, and eventually overcame them and ended up with a dependable geodude from Hoenn... but Xatu remained an active and important part of my life nonetheless. A schoolboy's crush became long-lasting respect as she mentored me through the difficulties of life, and eventually she even presided over my wedding. When times got tough, I knew that Xatu would be there for me... my mentor, my role model, my Great Teacher Xatu.
