The hate comes from it being too high a level, yes. As to why that's different then Bird Jesus, no answer has ever been given and it really doesn't seem to be different. Can't accuse TPP of being geniuses.

Basically. Up until we got Brian from daycare and evolved him Nobody other than Lazor could do anything for 6 straight gyms. It's a lot better now that Brian is fully evolved and Eevee has the exp-share and the hate has died down quite a bit with mostly trolls calling for his release.

It's also much different from Bird Jesus, for one BJ wasn't nearly as high a level compared to the other pokemon as Lazor was/is and the difference in power isn't even comparable. BJ had weaknesses against a good number of pokemon and only had shit attacks backed up by shit stats. Lazor has surf, a move competitive players use in it's first slot and is backed up with the good stats starters usually have.

If Lazor can make it all the way to Red without being fucked over... It will be epic. In case people don't know it seems like Red is going to be given the pokemon we had from our last playthrough using the hacked ROM. I don't think it's been confirmed, but so many believe it it would be stupid for the creator to let people go on thinking it without denying it if it wasn't true.

Yeah I looked closer and the "release the gator" people appear to all be bots. Also I should have remebered that Pidgeot isn't really the most powerful pokemon so it doesnt get op the same way starter does.

Well, the TPP hayday seems to have only lasted a couple of weeks...

I wonder how much of the loss is from people like me who are still following it but no longer feel the need to always be following it, if you know what I mean. If I'm not setting aside a block of time to put in commands, I don't keep the stream open anymore, I just check up on the live updates every once in a while.

That is what I do as well Glyph.

I love it, but I am a stickler for what is interesting. I try to stick around when there are momentous events on the stream, such as conquering a Gym or trying to evolve. Which, brings me to the thought whether Dr. Hoot will ever evolve. That bird is doing his best to pull his own weight, but sadly his efforts seem to be ignored.
