Yeah, but that's turning out to be painfully slow.  Pidgeot keeps one-hitting things and Nidoking is immune to poison.

Am I the only one who actually takes this as an optimistic cross-section of humanity? Yeah, there's lots of people blathering about and not helping, and there's a not-insignificant amount of trolls and haters, but when you get right down to it the trolls are losing. Progress is being made. The game will be beaten. It'll be ugly, and hard fought, with many casualties and missteps and so on, but at the end of the day the game will end in victory. And really, the idea that the net good outweighs the net bad (even when the bad is demonstrably easier to achieve) is a comforting thought to me.

The intrigue, drama, and cooperation in the face of adversity of this rollercoaster has inspired me with new faith in humanity, every victory they score is a victory for all of us. If tens of thousands of people can pull it together enough to collectively progress through a game of Pokemon, there’s sill hope for this species.
