I for one am fine with losing Flareon. Whether you considered it a false prophet or not, it would have been much more useful as a Vaporeon.

You know...you can see the effects of voting on the progress that is getting done...when someone votes and lose then they are more likely to try to work against the system. Whenever it switches to a mode that doesn't give a person control, they flip on the bots to spam start9 to discourage going back to it. It does almost parallel the issues that have been plaguing the US government. This could prove to be an interesting test bed for possible solutions.

EDIT2: Aaand they're back to anarchy.

start9 seems a bit like a flaw in the system... i mean why would you want to press start 9 times in a row? you would want to press start once and then something else to use in the start menu...  so i wonder why start repetitions are even allowed.

"up9" etc at least has a purpose to cover some distance so you are not stuck on the same 2-3 tiles in anarchy going back and forth for 1h.
or "up3left2down1left2" for puzzle precision...
but start9 ??? open close open close... *shrugs*

You can only repeat in democracy mode.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

Well, this was a good experiment. Two things came out of it:
1. You can play half of pokemon with mass input from the internet.
2. Adding any sort of choice other than 'what button next' will permanently freeze the game except in single-input increments.

This whole thing makes me yearn for a simpler time, where man lived in caves and dipshits who wanted nothing but to fuck over everyone else would get shunned, then starve. So basically it's the internet at large, modeled perfectly in microcosm.

And then, they will be weaponized. Like everything in this game, from kittens to babies, everything is a potential device of murder.
So if baseless speculation is all we have, we might as well treat it like fact.

I went to bed thinking 'There's no way this could get any more convoluted' and then there's the Anarchy/Democracy system. Oh lord.

That does seem to be what it has become, though I (somehow) see it as the repeated rise and subsequent collapse of civilization from anarchy/a war waged between those who wish to advance and those who wish to destroy.
