The way he say it made it sound like it was only parasect that got a buff. Probably missing something, I am.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

...why buff parasect, of all things?
To make it suck less?
Clearly, they're trying to use their influence to turn hyper-Parasect into an ascended meme to get MEGA PARASECT.

At least it isn't post-Dry Skin sextuple weaknesses.

I didn't even know there was a sextuple weakness in pokemon in the first place. Does it get KO'd by a faint breeze then?

Only if it's a hot breeze. Dry Skin increases damage from fire attacks, right?

Yeah.

On the opposite side, a Thick Fat Dewgong gets sextuple resistance to Ice.

Spoiler: From bulbapedia (click to show/hide)
tl;dr Fire and sunlight deal extra damage, water and rain heal you. Still, that only makes is a 5X weakness to fire.

Yeah.

I thought that was 8x?

Yeah, it should be 1/2*1/2*1/2 = 1/8 = 8x resistance.

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!

...So it would seem. I stand corrected.

I was also mistaken on Parasect's Fire weakness; it can grow to x5, not x6.

I can understand wanting to buff Parasect. Bugs are just normally so weak, you know? There are exceptions, yeah, but for the most part bugs are there to get squished by other types...

Progress! It's disappointing we could not grind most of the trainers but around half is not bad for TPP.

Blue got Pararekt. Unfortunately, it Pararekt learned Rest; it's Pararest now.

Then again, Stun Spore prevented us from using Spore, a much better move. It just sucks that the move ended up in the first slot.

The ledge is going to be impossible with all the slow mode; no down input is going to be ignored.
