You would be surprised what Reddit has accomplished with some operations.

- Correctly Utilizing the Move Deleter
- Returning Brian to the Team
- Coordinating the retrieval and subsequent placements of the EXP. Share
- Operation Joey actually succeeded in making AJ go see Joey.

The operations do work, it just requires a bit of task management.

To be fair, though, those all involved a lot of democracy. Heck, the Move Deleter trip kept democracy active for over an hour.

Democracy has proven to be ridiculously successful... but it's removed a lot of the fun and terror of the original run. We haven't had a single accidental release in ages, we've got reasonable movesets on every party member, and we'll never be stuck on a puzzle for more than a couple of hours. Contrast with Red's Bloody Sunday, or the day-long ledgendary ledgepocalypse, or the many other exciting, disastrous, and generally crazy events that permeated the first game.

Fair point. Emerald (which due to crystal I assume will be the gen III pick) will probably have fewer democracy restrictions, for more !!FUN!! in places, like, I dunno...

At first I thought it may have been because you get to Lavaridge through Jagged Pass, which is nothing but ledges, but it is impossible to get stuck or take a wrong turn there.

Though there is the risk of a spam of RIGHT after we exit the pass making us fall off the ledges and have to walk all the way around again.

Round 2 certainly would be, but we'd only do that to catch Rayquaza. When you visit it during the story the only cracked floors are the ones you need to fall through.

EDIT: You know what I hate about Jagged Pass? The only thing preventing you from going straight down the entire thing is a trainer in the way.

Lavaridge town has those ledges due east of the entrance.

Actually, Sky Pillar is easy the required time through in emerald, as the break tiles are there. And if it's not emerald, than we don't have to go there.

After Gen1 it became pretty hard to screw up. See: Our rapid progress through Gen2.

Streamer has confirmed in an Escapist interview that we shall be playing Emerald next, and he's gonna see what he can do to make it harder. Current ideas he has under consideration is modifying the input system (apparently something that he says will definitely happen), modding the game to make it more difficult, or running through that ROMhack randomizing system we all freaked out over last year that changes all the pokemon's locations and possibly stats and movesets. However he has not made any final decisions on those last two yet.

Answer: Get something to LVL 100 and put some sort of ultra death move with STAB in first slot.

Also, the Sky Pillar is easier in Emerald. Emerald is longer and harder than RS.
