This constant poisoning is really going to cause trouble in post-Koga battles, but we still need to work on beating him in the first place.

Katie was able to successfully take down Koga's venomoth and level up in the process. It's no ATV, but she's learning.

I hear Onix might evolve into Steelix in this romhack by leveling. That would then be our answer to Koga.

Soooooooo close to beating Koga there thanks to a max revive used on Brian. Cue resurrection comparisons. This minimizing and double teaming and poisoning is really causing trouble. Koga is such a dirty trainer.

Yeah I saw that about steelix. If true then that'd be awesome.

Swapping out Raticate at least though would be a good task for Australia. Australia seems to do all of the awesome things that keep us Americans from driving off a cliff with this thing.

We beat Koga but Karens Umbreon killed Gator (who had just 13 hp left) and Gengar killed Brian with Curse. That move is ugly.

Unless you switch immediately, but a) I doubt Twitch will ever be coordinated enough to do that ASAP, and b) IIRC Karen's Gengar has Mean Look, which is super rude.

Also, 13 HP aside, Gator getting ganked by an Umbreon is just embarrasing.

Karen absolutely destroyed us O.O

Umbreon (almost 30 levels lower then Gator mind you) absorbed a surf and confused a half health Lazorgator. He proceeded to hit himself 4 times in a row, killing himself, then Gengars curse took out Brian and Katie. Jeez.

Democracy has gotten pretty dexterous since the early days but being at the move deleter this long is fraying on the nerves.

The masses are satisfied and here are the results:

-Burrito Assassin forgets growl and tail whip
-Lazor loses whirlpool
-Brian loses whirlwind
-Katie loses agility

Solid Snake has exp.share now and is armed with earthquake and iron tail, so steelix should be wrecking house pretty soon (should the trolls allow him to evolve). The only issue with our team right now is Raticate, otherwise we're pretty solid from here on out.

Raticate's only problem is his shallow move pool. If we taught him, say, Dig, maybe Thunderbolt too, he'd be far more useful. 


Also, the move deleter was... ridiculously successful. Every useless move lost, no good attacking moves forgotten. Turns out over an hour of democracy can have a good side.

Karen beaten for the first time! Only the champion is left, Lance, with Brian as our last pokemon.

Brian takes out Gyarados with fly but falls to a thunder from the first Dragonite of TPP Crystal. You did what you could brian, you're only a bird afterall.


Edit: We're reliably getting to Karen and doing well against her now. It's practically required that Lazorgator survives to icy wind Lances Dragonites however unless the rest of the team pack on a bunch more levels.
