Tamil's shadowed vision parted at the sight of Coleen. He smiled, painfully, but did not regret it. A hand stole to his side-where the axe had made a long cut on the young warriors side. One that would leave a scar-the first of many-that would last to the end of his days, however long those might be.

The axeman looked after O'Connor and then went back toward the rest of his group, seemingly disinterested in pursuing the wyvern rider on his own.
