Double Party
« on: February 13, 2014, 09:50:43 pm »

Either I wasn't looking hard enough, or two of my dorfs started parties in the same room at the same time.

I built a dining room and then put statues in the corners, then defined it as both a garden and dining room for happy bonuses.. I see a dorf starts a party in the dining room, no problem, because I only have like 11 dorfs and no kids, so it's not like gobbos are going to come steal them or kill us all. (I do have a civilian alert for that just in case. Hide, hobbitses, hide!)

I look away, and about a minute later, another guy starts a party in the statue garden. Is this normal, or did the other party end while I looked the other way?

you'd think dwarves that don't even hesitate to decide who lies down so another can walk over the top of them could work out who gets to host the party hehe...

In other news, my own fort is 34 years old, has 226 healthy, happy dwarves with a very nice Great Hall, and has never seen a single party. Ummmm . . . .

Mind if I ask how did you have the sanity to run a fortress those 34 years?

I have to write something... well here goes:
"A dwarf isn't a dwarf unless he dies the most !!FUN!! of ways", Quote unknown, possibly Armok.

Doktoro Reichard is quite pleased with making a Great Carbonite Trap

Why shouldn't you write with a broken pencil? Because it's pointless!

Remove party-inducing rooms.

Or only allow parties when no one needs to work.
