Aye, Hexographer is probably best unless you wanted to go down the random generation route. (Though donjon has a good dungeon generator, which whilst geared for D&D could still come in handy)

Maptools isn't terrible either.


Right! So will having more points in Curse increase the effectiveness of it, or just make it more likely to hit?
Only asking 'cos I've got a pretty ludicrous amount in it, which might not help too much if we're facing lvl1 mooks right now.

But yeah, makes sense that spells are work-in-progress. Will we be discovering any new ones as we do our thing?

Wizardawn has some good random map generators, if you're not afraid to tweak the results in GIMP or some other image editing software. S'what I did for my suggesting thingy. Which I should really get back to.

World/region maps. :u

Curse will increase the effectiveness of it, though I would say making hit chance increase is making it more effective  :P

Yeah, you'll discover more as you go through the world and also as you level up character levels.

Heh. Got myself into a palm reading which I don't know the way out of.

So, should I say they'll die in Mulgran Wood, and scare them off?
Or say they'll get cheaped on the bounty?
Maybe say that it's already been killed by Knights of Orthrand?

Not sure how well I'll be able to intimidate a bunch of elf hunters.

Also Gilgamesh, you have full permission to put words in the mouth of my character, especially as everyone seems to want to be leaving next update.
Best-case, we could PM out the conversation with the drunks, and then it can be posted in the update?

Also I just read your post. It's possible, but you could just mumble something suitably cryptic and I'll cut to the party in the morning/leaving this night, whichever you decide. One of them is crying now, anyway, so it wouldn't be hard to disengage from the conversation.
