"Hello Prey." Alma Alrune takes the small animal from kyle before stripping it's bones clean. Not a trace of the creature is left soon.
After an about an hour of talking, the root wall sinks back into the ground and Alma Alrune's petals lower, revealing a living Kyle. She seems to have forgiven Kyle and been forgiven by him for trying to eat him much, much earlier.

Vines once again wrap around Torban before finally unwrapping with a stone in hand. Alma Alrune hands Kyle the Stone.

[USEC_OFFICER]

Torban shouts again.

"He's fine if she was gonna kill him she'd have done it already. Stay away unless you want to get him killed."

"Don't tempt me."

"Hmmph."  Nonetheless, Cymea takes a single step back from the vine walls as a bare concession to Torban's words, though she still kept her halberd out. 


After Alma Alrune finally releases Kyle and the vines slowly recede, Cymea finally relaxes imperceptibly.  Even so, she still doesn't relax entirely, with her weapon still by her side.

"Hey the little twerp just tried to hide a stone from me in his pocket and almost got me killed. If I'm not killing him neither are you. Yet.

Kyle slowly realizes there is some significance here.
"... Oh. I suppose I should give you this Torban."
Kyle hands the rock he found earlier to Torban.

Meanwhile Solairi had disappeared, searching further around the ruins of the town and into the caves, completely missing all drama that occurred.

Vulpa remains where she is, though she relaxes somewhat.

She finally sheathes the blade when Kyle is released, running an eye over him to check for visible harm. When she finds none, she turns, shaking her head, and moves over to a sit on a piece of rubble a short distance away. She then proceed to clean her pistol.

"Better. It's a start anyway. Thank you."

Rubra picks through the rubble for anything the other may of missed.

As the crowd gradually begins to disperse, Cymea returns to the golem core, only to see Zita already there.  Rather than resuming her own investigations, she simply stands off to one side, watching the elf work.

[Auto] Rubra finds a few coins here and there. She may just be searching the wrong area. [Rubra finds 3 silver coins.]

[Luck: 4] Torban hears a young girl snoring. Loudly. It's kinda worse than the gods. Speaking of which, they're back. At least 10 of them.
