Kyle hasn't really looked to the table as he was focused on the wench he's flirting with. The remark about the writs of execution makes him half snort.

"Go ahead Torben, I encourage it. My childhood was full of bloodshed and war." Lucien downs another ale

Solairi looked at the writs. She picked up a random one - unable to read meant she had no idea if it was genuine or not.

She shrugged and grinned. "Fine then. Let'ssss go. Have you made arrangementssss for a ssship, then?"

Torban just smirks in amusement.

"Of course you won't mind then if I begin with that one battle where you had a little trouble drawing your sword? "

[Sanure]

"A ship would be nice. Nope, we have a few wagons with some supplies and a few animals. We will be heading through the Llanwrton Vale north to the Merthy woods. Should be smooth riding." Lucien begins to lift a mug of rum. When torben talks Luciens face pales a bit.

Kyle is finally distracted from his mark.
"I'm sorry, what was that about trouble with swords?"

Cymea took her writ and slipped back a bit, opening it only after she was sure the others couldn't read it over her shoulder.  Her mouth quirked slightly as she glanced over the sheet.  A writ of decree, by the matriarchs of the combined herds in a grand moot, to be held in abeyance only in the lands north of Llanwrton Vale, so there would be no running.  The crimes to be condemned...treason and arson.  No details, of course; the story that the matriarchs would have heard in closed session would have been embarrassing enough to them all, and they wouldn't have risked the full story being leaked to outsiders.  The centaurs were only reluctantly considered "civilized" by the half-legs, but trust was not something in abundance on either side of the racial and cultural divide.  She folded it shut and pocketed it.  "Blackmail?"  She snorted.  "No promises, but I follow for now."

At Lucien's reaction to Torban's question, she grinned, baring teeth.  "Oh, do tell, elf."

[Alexandria]

"Well you see he was young and he got a bit nervous, he yanked at his sword trying to draw it when the enemy was coming and......"

[Sanure]

"Here we go..." Lucien grumbles while drinking his mug of ale.

 Vulpa winks as Lucien, a wink that fully suggests she intends to hear the full tale.
 'though I am disappointed that we lack a ship. Who know how long it'll be before I get my feet on decent water again.'

"pulled it a bit to hard. His belt came off with it and the enemy got agood look at his second sword.... if you catch my drift.

Kyle snaps and points to Torban.
"He pulls the wrong bit and his belt comes off, right?"

'Now then, give the lad some privacy.'
 Vulpa winks as Lucien, a wink that fully suggests she intends to hear the full tale.

Kyle nods.
"I know how you feel. Maybe we can set up on a coast..."

Push my senses along the route we have to take looking for any spell stones that are close to the route we're taking.

[24vs??]The woman that Kyle has been hitting on leans over and whispers into his ear a room number and a time. Score one for Kyle.
Lucien turns away and barks out an order, "Ok, everyone, Get some rest and meet me at the north end stables first thing in the morning. Pack light. It will take about three weeks to make it to the Merthy Woods.
