"I said I wouldn't train you to be a summoner. She's already bound to a stone. It's possible to teach you how to bind her to you. It takes more then that to become a summoner. On a few conditions."

Elleanor let out a sigh and headed back towards the wagons, as she reached the main group again she heard Vulpa call out.

"I can track" she then followed Vulpa.

Start the furnace and Smelt the metal then hammer it into a shield.

[Sanure]

[Auto] It takes the furnace a few hours to get up to an acceptable heat, but soon Rubra has a new shield made out of nails and door knob metal. It seems pretty sturdy too. Rubra now has a Coarse Iron Shield- Damage reduction 2d8.

Returning, Cymea approaches Zita quietly, trying not to disturb her concentration, but needing to ask the question.  "This orb, have you learned anything?"

"I am still trying to understand all of its secrets... Ask me again later."

Zita tries to figure out how to the orb was made, if she could make a copy, and if she could dispel only part of the orb, allowing her to take a piece for later study.

'I just caught the shadow when I was here - it looked like a child. And given we've just wrecked the place, I'm not entirely comfortable with leaving it here.'
She pauses, thinking.
'or it could be something altogether more malevolent, in which case I think we'd all sleep safer with it dead.'

[Alexandria]

"First, no finding stones and keeping it secret again. I'll feel it either way but I'd rather not have to bind it then take the stone from you and you couldn't use it if you tried since you can't communicate with them.

Alma is a unique situation because I returned her body to her using the core so she has a physical body and your ability to communicate with them will only extend as far as her.


Second, one of those looks. One hint that your trying to use your control over her in a less then honorable fashion and I'll sever your connection and feed you to her myself. I didn't protect her so you could hurt her a second time. Clear?

Elleanor nodded

"Ok, I'll do my best to find them" she then began to search the area for any tracks the child may have left

"I didn't attack her the first time but yes, we are clear."

At Zita's reply, Cymea nods politely and withdraws to let her concentrate on the work at hand. 

[Alexandria]

"Not important, one hint. Now then."

Teach him how to bind her.

[Pass] Zita learns that creating the orb took the lives of every man, woman, and child in the town to stabilize it, that if she tried to dispel a portion of it to collect a sample she would destroy the orb, and that the magic used is too strong for her to copy.

[Luck: 5] elleanor is unable to find any tracks. Something tells her to keep looking however.

[18 vs 12] Kyle picks up the skill [Binding] from Torban. It is now level 1 and needs at least 3 uses before being able to level up.
