"The lack of ability to fight one on one in an open environment and gait also gave it away. So, what did you sail on?"

'Oh, just a little ship. Doubt you'd have ever heard of it.'
Vulpa reached down to her alchemy puch on instinct, and withdrew a paper and some powder - she starts to put together a small bomb.

Kyle shrugs.
"I found out I can do the sparkly thing. Like, just now. I learned it when I was fighting this plant woman that took offense to me trying to pick a flower."

'The sparkly thing? And a plant woman? Tell me more.'
She slides down the side of the tent, leaning back against it and gesturing at the ground besides her.

Kyle leans back.
"Well, I was out in the forest looking for a pretty flower after relaxing by this pond I was in. I called out asking if anyone was there as it was really suspicious and all. When I didn't get an answer I started digging up the flower when, all of a sudden this... plant woman comes out of no where and makes a vague threat at me before sealing up the grove with vines."
Kyle pauses to take a breath.

Vulpa blinks, once, impassively.

"Well, we get down to fighting and she tries impaling me twice, and I'm thinking to myself 'well, normally they don't try that until I try flirting'. Anyways, she brings up this shield made of petals and I think, 'hey, I can stab through one of those cracks'. Well, when I do so my sword turns red and something in the shield goes boom. Next thing I know, the plant girl is running off into the woods and my flower is wilted. So I sigh and come back here and along the way find this one."
Kyle smiles and points to the flower at his feet.

She grins.
'So, let's see. You just managed to cut through some petals - apparently with an explosive sword - scare off a plant, and return with a flower to show for it.'
Vulpa chuckles.
'I'll assume it was more difficult than it sounds. Though it does make me wonder who the flower could be for?'

Kyle smiles and scratches the back of his head.
"Maybe if you're lucky you'll find out."

'And given what i know of your track record, maybe if you're lucky they'll even accept it.'

Kyle shrugs.
"Hey, normally when I talk to women they actually are interested, not my fault the women here are weird."

'Hmmm..... warriors, for the most part.'
She pauses, looking up at the stars for a moment, before adding, quietly.
'What makes you think the captain of the Tempest would be any easier?'

Kyle smiles.
"If I thought it would be easy I would try so hard."

[sjm9876]

She smiles, and lifts the flower to her nose, sniffing it softly, and letting Kyle continue.

"You know, I heard the captain of the tempest was a lovely woman. I'm sure that your upset over that understatement."
