[Sanure]

Torban is to far away to tell anything. He does however pick up a very unique monster currently engaged in battle.

Combat

Alma Alrune keeps moving from side to side waiting for Kyle to attack.

[Auto] 16 damage Kyle runs up to the plant monster with his sword before sinking down and firing his gun.

[Auto] Alma Alrune begins to shake violently as it is shot. It's petals lower quickly showing a disturbingly beautiful woman with a wound in her gut. She is clutching at it, attempting to stop it from bleeding. She looks at kyle with a look of 'why' before slumping down onto the flower. Alma Alrune is not moving.

Turn 3

Kyle glares at the alurane. He looks around the arena.

[Alexandria]

Focus in on that monster. Meditate on it to shut out everything else.

[Sanure]

[Auto] Torban learns that the monster is made of plants and is hunting a human. A very familiar human. A human from your caravan.

Combat

Kyle looks around the battlefield but see's nothing out of the or-

[?? vs 19] Kyle jumps out of the way as a large root erupts from the ground attempting to skewer him.
Alma Alrune looks up from where she is laying and closes up her petals.

Turn 4

[kj1225]

"FUCKING KNEW IT!"
Kyle quickly holsters his pistol and pulls out his chainshot. If possible he spends twenty RP on smashing the alurane with his chain shot and stabbing her.

[Alexandria]

Focus my senses on the next stone along our route. Try to make contact with it from here.

[Sanure]

[Fail] Torban finds himself able to contact the spirit due to range. The stone is much further than it appeared.

Combat

Alma Alrune Begins swaying from side to side again +0 SP

[17 vs ??] 15 Damage Kyle does indeed strike Alma Alrune with his chain shot. as he does this he runs up stabbing her petals. A green ichor oozes out. Alma Alrune seems unfazed by the attack

Kyle backs away getting out of attack range. He should be-

[18 vs ??] Another root shoots out of the ground nearly hitting Kyle. Kyle manages to dodge.

turn 7

Kyle tries to stab in between the petals.

[Sanure]

((thank you Kj. I was waiting for that ))

Combat

Alma Alrune begins to sway again

[CRIT-SUCCESS] Kyle rushes up to the Petal Shield and begins to stab between the petals. As he does this, his cutlass begins to glow red. As he strikes a loud boom and plant matter explode into the air. Alma Alrune lets out a wail as her right side is burnt and her Petals destroyed.

End Combat

With another wail, Alma Alrune flees into the woods. The trees making up the grove wither and dye. the flower in the center has wilted.
The vines keeping Kyle inprisoned have wilted and died. They could easily be chopped apart.

Kyle has learned the Special Attack [Bombardment]

Kyle sighs at the wilted flower.
"I just wanted to get a flower..."
Kyle goes off to camp. If he finds another pretty flower he carefully digs around it and then lifts it out at the bottom like he tried with the other one.

[Sanure]

Kyle does find a flower, albiet less pretty than the wilted one, and carefully takes it with him.
Alma Alrune continues to flee into the woods, and stumbles upon Torben. She glares at him and raise what petals she can to defend herself in her weaken condition.

Kyle smiles slightly and continues back to camp.

Torban smiles at her.

"You can come quietly or burn. Choose quickly.
