I'm annoyed because so far there is a tremendous lack of balance. Your summons are more numerous and also as or more powerful than any other character.
They don't have to agree with you - but they never
will disagree with you, basically because you're playing them, and I have severe doubts you'd ever do that. Case in point - that spat with the demanding people ask the plan first.
As Torban finishes preparing to fire 8 blades bangs him over the head with an iron gauntleted hand.
" Tell the children what needs to be done. I just got out of that damned stone I have no desire to return to imprisonment because you want some respect. Even if you are justified " (( Hint Hint. ))
Wincing and rubbing his head Torban glares for a moment then shrugs.
"Fair enough, maybe this is why the gods sent me. Somebody has to keep them alive long enough to make the village.
Would 8 blades ever state the opinion of the other people in the thread? No, because you're running the character. That ((hint hint)) is also horribly obnoxious, but besides that.
Sanure. What is your opinion on this sort of thing? While we could potentially learn summoning, the case stands that
a) there is a limited amount of summons, and torban has the majority, so others would never catch up
b) the summons are just as or more powerful than an ordinary character, even one specced for combat like Solairi. No chance she could kill all those gnolsl with a single move, for example, but Torban can do so with ease. The bonuses of summons to combat also have no effective that Torban himself is just as dangerous with his ability to use magic.
While I was able to put up with a bit, it's actually pretty silly. If he does both of the area-attack spells with 8 blades and magmafreet, he could theoretically defeat the entire rest of the party in a single turn.
