Ah.  So, in other words, you can technically take two actions per turn, not one.  That's useful to know.  I knew about delaying, but not about accelerating.

EDIT: That is to say, I assumed it worked like this:
The initiative order at Turn 1 is A, B, C, D.  A delays their turn to after C.  This changes the actions taken on this turn and the initiative order on subsequent turns to B, C, A, D.

Next turn, D then decides they need to go after B: since D can't go faster than their fastest possible, the turn order on this turn is B, C, A, while D does not act immediately.  From the next turn however, the initiative order is now B, D, C, A.  I didn't pay enough notice to how the initiative orders were actually changing from turn to turn.

I meant next turn. But I was joking. It has more important targets then me. Like the lightning lizard punching holes in it.

see, I was apprehensive at using the Delay and Prepare system because it is thoroughly broken like hell. But I was convinced that it could add a few more interesting tactic options.

Just out of idle curiosity, though, why is charging an action but charging using RP/SP not an action?  Does this mean certain other actions, when taken using RP/SP, are no longer counted as actions?

I put all the damage dealt by the attack, both physical and lightning, all as lightning damage.

When it used it's SP and RP to charge the last bit it needed, it put itself past what it needed to attack with. if it had just charged, it would have used it's turn up. By using it's SP/RP, it enabled itself to attack, but it delayed it's attack until next turn.

A simple explanation is that yes, using Sp and RP can enable one of your actions to not count as an action. But, this is only on very very specific things.

For example, lets say Solairi was still spinning her spear and generating Lightning. She can use her SP and RP to charge up more lightning with out it counting as charging. This also enables her to attack the same turn. If she were to say use all of her SP she would gain the charge, but not be able to attack this turn, and won't have a turn next turn due to running out of SP.

While everyone else is bombarding a massive golem with the forces of nature, Carl slips on a ring and glances around in hopes of finding something that can hurt it.

I'm an ant in the midst of gods when it comes to battle. It feels...odd.

Is the golem moving first then when the turn starts?
