Not really. That kind of showy magic holds no interest to Torban. You have no skills Torban is interested in.

Looking at all your characters actions as a whole it looks like this when you try talking with Torban.

5% you do it so badly he attacks you.
45% he says no.
35% he says he needs time to decide.
15% he says yes.

Judging by what I've seen so far from your character OOC. So there's some wiggle room given how little has been seen. Not great odds for you true but pretty good still.


Maybe miracles do happen. You should ask while your luck.holds.

I will point out Kyle did spend most of the tavern bit seducing a waitress. Really it's not that far of a stretch to think he can at least have one of the women in the group interested in him.

Agreed.  I'm expecting the Pratchettian response to Pascal's Wager - his soul wakes up surrounded by a circle of demon princes with various weapons, eager to show him what they think of "Tricky Richard" in these parts... :P
