Appearance- As her name suggests, she was hatched in a great storm, and throughout her life no thunder ever made her cry. Raised by a bandit and his woman, she was a tomboy (tomlizard?) - always fighting in the streets with sticks. Always, though, she had a love for the sun; it was a fair bet you'd find her where ever the sun shone the brightest. Often this meant climbing the town walls and the old abandoned tower just out of town - she'd sit on the warm, cracked stone, absorbing the heat of the sun and sing into the clear air. When night fell, she'd jump off and glide down, facing an inevitable scolding for missing meals and non helping out with chores.
She has grown into a surprising beauty (well, for a lizard) from the rough-and-ready nature of her childhood. Growing into adulthood has lent her a grace of form and speed few can match, and she is deadly with a spear.
In the tower had always been a jagged old spear - without rust or dent, it was buried deep into the stone of the floor. Throughout her youth she tried to pull that spear free, to no avail; it was the day the town was finally attacked by the knights hunting for the bandit town of Jonlynchd. Fleeing from the attackers, she took shelter in the tower - with a strength born of desperation, she pulled the cruel steel from the stone and slew her pursuers.
The town in ruins, the ill-gotten gains reclaimed, the knights withdrew. With both parents dead and her friends captured or the same, she decided to wander, and see the sights of distant lands. She never looked back.
Description-A short, toned lizard woman, Solairi Stormhatched has golden yellow feathers over crimson skin . Her eyes are the deep red of a burning sunset and having a childlike playfulness to them. Like all feathered lizardfolk, she was four primitive wings projecting from her back, with which she can boost jumps and glide. Her armour is patchwork, pieced together from a dozen sources, and adorned with trinkets. Bracelets cover her arms, a mixture of gold and bronze.
Personality- Careless and free, Solairi will do what seems interesting. Born to wander, she wants little but excitement. A nice bit of gold, wouldn't hurt, either, or a good fight. She loves colourful things, and decorates all her stuff with most everything she can, as long as it's colourful. Red and yellow are her favourite colours. She has a fine singing voice, and will often sing when she's happy - but raised by bandits, the songs are unfortunately bloodthirsty.
