I believe what Alexandria is saying is that people weren't preparing for the possibility of failure, and that it is equally important to prepare for that.

That and that attacking first gives us an edge. Negotiating with an enemy who outnumbers you enormously makes it a lot easier for them to take you down.

Your walking right up to them. Armed or not they have the advantage over you in that situation and if they use it then they kill your or take you hostage. Not the kind of risk I'd take.

Well, there's not exactly a lot we can do to prepare for any particular possibility for a while.

That and that attacking first gives us an edge. Negotiating with an enemy who outnumbers you enormously makes it a lot easier for them to take you down.
Your walking right up to them. Armed or not they have the advantage over you in that situation and if they use it then they kill your or take you hostage. Not the kind of risk I'd take.
...And this is worse than attacking them, how? Do we somehow attack them without leaving the comfort of our own homes?

No. Just no. I'm not getting dragged into another stupid argument with you that's already over.

What part of you have your opinion I have mine did you not understand?

He does have a point though. You're saying flat out attacking is better than trying to get them to be our allies. Explain why that's better.

I did already. They are not going to accept it. Talking to them is nothing but a needless risk and a waste of time.

But I already said go ahead and try your way. If you get taken hostage I'm not coming in after you.

Like I said. Go ahead. If you lot end up taken prisoner I'm not getting myself into trouble coming after you against impossible odds.

I'm going to go ahead and stop any argument from happening. Let me look for something right quick...

Cymea hears an interesting rumor about a Gnoll raiding party having been seen near the edge of the Llanwrton Vale. It was easily dispatched however.

This Should give you all a good indication as to what the Gnoll's intentions are.

I did ask but he said we weren't aware of them? Or I misinterpreted what he said, more likely.

I just did it as an action and got mine straight away. And now you all see why I was against diplomacy from the start and in the spirit of self congratulation.

I told you so. Thats twice in 2 days.

And thats 9/10 people.

Torban! go find your letter and link to it! It is a very very important thing for OOC that the IC characters shall not know yet!

I told you so.
Please - that's unnecessary. I don't want the arguments to begin again.

And as confirmation from San - do we know about the letters IC? Y/N
