Pretty much Anyone who is unable to hear plans would have Torban tell them the plan over psycho magical link. This way (and yes there are magical spells to silence and deafen people) everyone can know the plan and not be running around like an idiot

Makes sense. We don't have mindlinking bracelets, we should have something to mess with the GM's plans to separate us.

Basically what I just I've been doing. In a large scale battle or boss fights like this then we need to fight as a team with a plan. As this boss shows I'm good at using people's strengths and at finding the right tactic.

To give an example. Say we get attacked by 25-30 gnolls. They'll have 1 or more summoners, necros, mages, archer, warriors and so on.
If we fought like in this fight? We would wind up divided and crushed 1 at a time.

I can track every enemy and ally on the field, determin what it is say warrior or necro. Tell.how strong it's summon or necro minion is and with the skill I'm developing pass all that information to all of you instantly.
Nobody else on the team has the extra senses I do and with my summons I can respond to a larger number of problems in a shorter time more effectively then anybody else.



I just make sure everyone is filled in on what's going on and suggest a way to deal with it. If you hate my suggestion your free to ignore me. Just after how this went I don't want to have this fight a second time so I'll play psychic radio.
Early on it is one way. I can't read your minds and none of you can communicate mentally, I'll try to find a way to either read your minds when you have something to pass on or allow you to send messages back to me but it might take a while.

I'm okay with that, although I would prefer that your suggestions were kept minimal, because at the moment it does feel as if other peoples opinions are being belittled (IMO - this is not an attack, but merely my reasoning).

Nah, The one you make with the mats you have currently will be a few medium bombs.

Little hint, You can tie your bombs together making them a little more impacting

Hmmm..... and I have 2 turns until the core is exposed, if all goes well?

This coming turn I freeze it.
Next turn Kyle breaches the shield and USEC begins draining mana.
Turn after that I use drained mana to enable me to locate the core and I pass that information on.
Turn after you all hit.

I'm last in the action order so I can't locate it until after you all have your moves.

GM: Is it possible for us to create a golem-like thing that is powered from some outside source--maybe something like the Town Golem?--instead of the creator?

Thoughts about protecting our communication hub lead to me contemplating powered armor.

It is possible but an outside source wouldn't regen mana on it's own so it'd be a 1 shot battery that you have to put mana into to charge, I had the same idea for my summons as a means of concealing them.

Since our link is how they track us if they don't the link they become harder to track.

Then how does the Town Golem work?

And would it be impossible to make a rechargeable "battery"? Or maybe link it to someone else, who doesn't use their mana?

Well Sanure didn't explain that to me in detail.

But the town is surrounded by a huge golem construct circle. In essence. This entire town is the battery.

Rechargeable should be no problem, plenty of materials can be used to store mana. It'd just be a weird kind of enchant. I have no idea how we'd do it though and I suspect we'd need to be a lot higher level.
