After the golem.

Also. Yes. I specified meditation every night for that reason. I've been doing guard duty every night until last night and the 1 time I don't a Gnoll sneaks in. Well I'm not with you now anyway I'll catch up later.
Your character is yours, if you wanna stand guard you would have to have him do it.
Ah, I actually didn't pick up on that.  Still, an explicit watch schedule will make it clear that we have people guarding the camp every night.

Is the sea of blades an ocean or?

It kinda reminds me of the sea of grass so I'm not sure.

It's a Sea. As the name implies :P

It also happens to be very, very cursed by some unknown big bad that the group will probably never face.

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

Wait, when did Torban disappear? I don't remember reading anything about that. Or, in fact, on him being on watch.

Meditation is clearing you mind of the world around you. It's not the best for being on watch, because in decent meditation, you shouldn't notice the sounds of anything but your own body.

Anyway.

When we had that last camping stop Torban walked into the forest and never came back. He's been missing for more then 2 days.

And he meditates for many different reasons, in this case it's to block out his physical presence and senses entirely and to expand his mental senses to cover the area around the camp so he would feel the approach of anything coming near it. Like the Chimera that was extremely close to the camp when Torban drove it away back near the trips beginning.

I suddenly got an amusing image of someone informing Torban that the reason he has supersensory capabilities like that is because he's been meditating wrong this whole time.

Meditation was used for all sorts of things not just clearing your mind.
