The gods would have loved it. Extra ammo to use tormenting him but they'll do that no matter what I do.
Snake would be mad.but wouldn't leave right off the bat, retreat is sometimes the best choice for a warrior.

Becoming a summoned at all is reckless. Half the summoners in the world and most summoned wannabes want my head to get at my summons. Reckless goes with the territory. But willingly jumping into that battle should at least go some way to proving he can be trusted. He trusts all of you a little more because you stood your ground and worked together.

In the initial list. You said he'd made questionable choices to make him less trustworthy and taking in the pups was number 3a. Taking in untrained, unbound wolf pups. Disease is fair enough but trained and bound is hardly a valid argument for 5 pups that couldn't kill a rabbit let alone one of us.
And that was a reason to distrust them. And have you ever heard of rabies? That's just the best-known lethal disease they could have.
So, wait, you bound child animals and they could somehow give consent. Neither children nor animals are considered able to give consent in the real world. What the heck? (And have you ever tried training a wolf cub? They aren't a collar and a trip to the vet away from being adorable dogs, they're still wild animals.)

Quote
It was in the middle of camp when it happened lol that's why I had to warn off half the group from intervening in those 2 people's problem. You should have heard me shouting it.
Ah.
Still, this leaves the rest of the problems.

Quote
The horses were fine when USEC fled and the golem cut them off he ran when it showed up. I had several minutes warning before it showed. On a horse I could have been half a mile away before it showed . More then far enough to be out of it's range .
How did you have several minutes of warning, and why didn't you warn us?!?

The gods would have loved it. Extra ammo to use tormenting him but they'll do that no matter what I do.
How would the gods have loved your fleeing?

Quote
But willingly jumping into that battle should at least go some way to proving he can be trusted.
I don't see why. All it proves is that you won't stab us in the back for no reason.

Your argument said untrained and unbound. The pups and Wolfenstien are gone for now . Wolf's using his 3 lifetimes of experience to train them up.

Well most of those problems are kinda really minor so I'm not really worrying about them. Wolf pups? If they were ill we would have seen. No need to bind them since they're already loyal to me and they're training now. So that's soon to be solved.

His attitude? He's not being buddy buddy but he's being civil for the most part and training 2 people who requested it which counters the arrogant and self interested argument in time as long as he doesn't go back to his earlier attitude.

I knew the moment I found the empty graves which is when I we.t to the caravan and sent the message to you all. I could have been half a mile down the road before it came out if I'd wanted. We all could have been. I decided to stay and fight with the others instead.

That's up to you. You ran so good reason or not Torban doesn't really care what you think.

Wait a sec.

Surely, if the wolves are off being trained by other wolves, they're being trained to be feral? Why would they be loyal to you? They haven't been with you that long, certainly not enough to imprint. Why would they be loyal to you?

Your argument said untrained and unbound.
Which is A. what the pups were when Torban got them and B. what I thought they still were.

Quote

...Your point being?

Quote

Well, two things.
1. No, not all of them, not from outside certain points of view.
2. They add up, along with the complete lack of trustworthiness, to make Torban look much like a bastard.

Quote
Wolf pups? If they were ill we would have seen.
Right. Because all illnesses manifest with mange, vomit, and discoloration 30 seconds after infection.

Quote
His attitude? He's not being buddy buddy but he's being civil for the most part
Civil but condescending. And arrogant, can't forget that.

Quote
and training 2 people who requested it which counters the arrogant and self interested argument in time as long as he doesn't go back to his earlier attitude.
"Self-interested" doesn't mean you never help people, it just means you aren't altruistic. And those are different! Self-interested aid is giving a family a loan and wanting it paid back with interest, not laughing at their plight and burning down the house!

Which is up to me? Neither "How would the gods have loved your fleeing" nor "All it proves it you won't stab us in the back for no reason" have anything to do with me.

By the way, you're doing a REAL good job of making Torban seem worthy of...anything, really. And again, you're getting angry at a noncombatant for []inot fighting[/i]. You're reminding me of a drow my brother played in one of my campaigns. The party got fed up with him and threw him down the stairs into a hydra's lair.
I'm not saying that we'll feed Torban to hydras, but you're making that look like an increasingly appealing option.

Why are they not feral NOW?

Wolfenstien is training them he's smart enough to teach pack tactics and will be back leader so I tell him what I want and he commands them. The pups love me and won't be away from me. I'll be sleeping away from camp for a while to keep the pups safe and so that IC nobody knows about the pups being older or trained but me.

I'm holding it for a surprise later on closer to when we reach camp. If my Gnoll suspicions are correct they're my ace in the hole.

I'm not a.hey that's Torbans poi.t of view. As a non warrior your opinion has very little importance to Torban in what he co.spiders to be hostile territory. In trading or diplomacy your opinion is important in this situation. Your a weak link in the team.

He hasn't been arrogant or condescending since his explination the previous day. Since then he was perfectly civil and respectful with the two people's he's spoken to. If slightly impatient with Kyle but he has months of training to do with him.
Which is why I said as long as he doesn't return to his previous behavior. Since he opened up a little last night and everything with Alma and Kyle Torbans decided to be a little more respectful with most people. Kyle especially.

We needed to come into town, so we came in. You all spoke with people while I had a bad feeling and went directly to the graveyard and discovered we were in trouble. Tried to warn you all and failed so I stayed put to help the others fight.

Oh? I didn't think this was an arguement, rather a discussion. An arguement would be earlier (with heated words).

If you want, I'll stop.

Yeah this times not an argument. I'm getting there point of views on my character and why they don't trust him and explained mine.

It helps me to develop the character a bit because what's said IC sometimes gets misunderstood. We're even being polite :p. Ish.

No attacking from me. It's helped me to.clarify the problems a bit. With Giglamesh I'm more or less stuck. His character hates summoners for being summoners so that can't be helped.

Gwg distrusts me but not hugely and my current actions luckily are countering a fair few of his reasons so that should change in time.
Everyone else is neutral or at least trusts me a little. So all in all I'm not doing to bad.

The pups love me
And what makes you say this?

Why the hell are we trusting Torban again, if he's keeping even silly little things like that secret?

Pointless, unless one of us is a gnoll spy.

And what reason does Carl have to think Torban won't return to his previous behavior? First impressions matter.

I'm not sure if anyone really trusts Torban, per se, and he certainly doesn't have any friends.
As far as I know. There are periods I've been skimming.
