Alright Ill get my fellows In position I aint sure what are firing angles are going to look like from the east seems to me there is going to be a lot of enemy cover. Why not just sneak a feller up have him lob some grenades in the windows of that shack call it a day two or three should be enough to clear the house.
I take my men and follow the Lieutenant orders moving at walking pace

@Whitius - By my reckoning going SE leads off the map - or is that just my reading of the compass?

@Caelyth - I appear to have been promoted to Sgt. (it was Cpl. In the OP I think) - is that intentional?

Sorry, I meant south- don't know why I put southeast, but I fix'd it.

And yeah, now that you mention it, you were a Cpl. I fixed my orders to that, but I don't know why it says that's your rank in the mission brief.

Promotion was unintentional, fixing it ASAP

I have no idea what you wnat TopHat's guys to do btw, just saying. (As far as I got it he should go to the big forest-styled thing in the back and then move so he faces the two buildings to your general west?

You yourself want to get up to the northern side of the 2 buildings west, and you want Player to the east of it? Sorry if I'm having some problems here.
Cheese: You are accepted, please note that I cant order arround single guys though :P

((I'm thinking of everything in relation to the housing in the middle. I want the Rifle team of Pvt. Bell to head over to the hedges west of the farm in the center. I want Cpl. Jackson, his men, and Riley with the browning element to head over to the hedgerows to the east of the farm in the center. Me and my men will head to the larger house to the north of the farm. Does that make sense? I'll basically be traveling with Pvt. Bell for a little bit. Once Jackson and his men hear fire from Bell, they will start the attack.))

Plan sounds good.

Jog down SW through the forest with my guys. Upon reaching the edge of the forest, head more cautiously through the open field to the hedge east of the farm. If coming under fire from the farm whilst crossing the field, sprint for the hedge as if our lives depend on it. Which they will. Otherwise, get into position behind the hedge.

"We got it, boss. Let's move out! First one to down Jerry gets 2 bucks outta my own pocket!"

Stick to the plan. Try to stay ahead of HQ, in case we start taking fire. (Jog, stay ahead of HQ)

EDIT: "Boss, what about the area in between the woods and us? If Jerry's in there, he could cut us off easily."

As turns have been posted they will be executed by me right now, one thing to remember though, turns should resemble roughly 2 minutes of real time, or less. Please keep that in mind, Alexandria, you are whitelisted. Maybe I'll improve the player count later on...we'll see.

The Lieutenant was making his plan up to the soldiers as a few of them were providing cover for the briefing, overall nodding could be seen before everyone started grabbing their gear and the elements moved out.

The squad moving

2nd Team (2ndLt. Anderson + Pfc. Bell)

As Jackson's men approached the end of the forest and waited there for a half a minute, providing overwatch for the MG element carefully walking up to the hedgerow, 2nd Team was doing the same with the rifle team moving across the open field to another hedgerow, with the Platoon HQ overwatching them. At the moment they cross about half of the field a single shot is fired off from one of the buildings ahead, impacting the ground close to Pvt. Vines, no more shots are fired after that though, and Anderson and his men aren't able to spot the enemy.

2nd Team taking fire from the buildings ahead.

"We found 'em boys!"

Get to the hedge for C&C, open fire if we see any Germans.

"Shit, we're taking fire boys! Time to give some back!

Private Bell! Move up to that hedgerow! Well provide covering fire, then you do the same for us!"

cover Pfc. Bell and his squad till they reach the hedgerow cover, then sprint up to them while they cover my HQ element.

((I'm gonna RP not knowing what the other elements are doing, since I wouldn't in-game, but they should still stick to the plan :P))

Prepare to attack the group of houses. When firing heard from the 2nd team, commence assault.
"sounds like the others are making contact, time for us to get stuck in. Covering fire would be nice, Riley!"

1st Team's B.A.R. element goes into position and starts firing as the Corporal and his men move out to the field in the front, just seconds after they pop their heads into the field Private Newcott recieves a hit to his helmet, a spurt of blood flies up in the air before the thump of a body falling into the grass lifeless is heard as the man drops to the ground. The corporal himself locates the shooter - a german armed with a MP40 in the building ahead, takes aim and a burst of rounds hits the german soldier.

Casualty and revenge

The rest of the team continues to rush over the open field towards the barn, while the MG section spots a single soldier in the building behind the barn.

Meanwhile, the HQ element of second team moves up under the covering eyes of the Rifle team, at the same position as last time shots are fired at the HQ element, clearly coming from the 2 story building ahead, the rifle team takes aim and a hail of bullets is unleashed.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Platoon HQ moves up without problems, taking position alongside the rifle team, watching the building up ahead trying to spot for new targets while the rifle team gives a few last shots into the building.

((Just a reminder for the future: 3 men are usually not enough to supress/cover a whole area, I can only select single buildings or areas for suppresing, but can set fire sectors to make sure that people watch the right positions, in this case the B.A.R. element was unable to supress the barn alone, thus the other team taking a casualty becuase the germans had an easy time shooting back.))

((Yeah, well, we're kinda short on manpower so it'll have to work. I thought a MG would be able to do that alone, but oh well.

So, there's an enemy in the building by the HQ element, and that's all? Can we get a general synopsis of the enemy we can see?))
