I've been thinking about the whole jammer pod thing. It might be a lot more balanced if the irritating card thing was removed and it just disabled all special ship weapons instead.

I just got rid of jammer pods and replaced them with a bunch more captain cards.

Assesing the situation, Roarystar and Dumbo can take care of Dark Drake, and every ship but mine is pretty much dead. :P
Activate Overcharge and Aimed shot and open fire on the Juke.

I play Redshirt, nano-repair, and Aimed Shot. Aimed Shot after mastahcheese repairs the bridge. Shoot at the Juke's left lazor.

If mastah is unable to repair the bridge, then just save it. Discard Phasers.
