Roary's only course of action is: Play Redshirt/Heal if he has them and move to right hull,  otherwise, discard entire hand and stand still. If he has boarding, board the Drake.

I suppose technically we are the crew of the Emperor's fire. The original owners of the Dark Drake didn't hang around too long. So, Action:
Swap Escape Pod with one of Whitius's cards, play RedShirt, Teleport back to the Emperor's Fire, Shoot RoaryStar if possible, even if that means taking damage from moving into the right strut.

Hey guys, just a quick status update for the current games I'm in - I apologize for not being able to post the past 2 weeks (I've been in Germany) and would like to inform you I will have very limited connection for at least the next two (As I tour Italy). Once I'm back in the States and with a frequent Wifi access i can resume normal posting times.

As it stands, my action is in the PM.

Cmdr. TopHat swaps his Escape pod for Cpt. WhitiusOpus's Fire brigade. He then plays a Redshirt and teleports to the S.S. Emperor's Fire. He moves to the right strut, takes 1 damage, and phasers Lt-Cmdr. RoaryStar, killing him.
Cpt. WhitiusOpus plays Strafing run on the S.S. Juke. Two shots hit the left strut and teleport chamber. He then plays Ramming speed! on the Thunderbird. Cpt. WhitiusOpus takes 3 damage, and everyone on board the Thunderbird takes 2 damage. Cpt. WhitiusOpus then plays Repair lvl 1 on the bridge, and then plays Ramming speed! on the Thunderbird again. He takes 3 more damage and the Thunderbird is damaged beyond repair. A single escape pod is launched before the Thunderbird explodes and is utterly destroyed.
The forcefield in the right hull expires.

Aw man. First my ship was the first to lose its captain, then the ship I was on was the first to be destroyed.

Shouldn't the commandeered Dark Drake have taken more damage from the ship exploding with enough force to kill everyone onboard?

I'm not even in this game and I can tell you that it wasn't your ship that was destroyed.  It was the Thunderbird.
