Oh crap. You kinda grow back your hand and such, but you also screw up your arm. The whole thing is bigger than it was before, lumpy, reddish, and twisted; the hand is more like a club with a few blunt fingers than a normal hand. Also, you can't feel it. And it's twitching violently, where "violently" here means "at anything or anyone it thinks it can break".
Seek my quarries! The wimmin must be brought back! Use my considerable skill at wilderness survival to help me think of brilliant ideas about how to pursue them.

You head back to town, staggering under the burden. A lot of the buildings are gone, and there are bloody crystal shards everywhere, but they seem to have solved most of their problems.
