I left him out mainly because his element is kinda hard to try and argue your way out of its actual sphere of influence.

I do kind of want to know what I can affect. Is it just meat? Or is it also skin? And since organs are very very similar to meat can I cause organ shut down?

Well, you didn't post.

No. The hammer you have weighs basically zero. Zero for all intents and purposes, certainly. You can make it bigger..
Except I did.
Make a better light hammer. One that is not a wiffle ball bat.
You even responded to it. >.>

Well what I was getting at is won't making it bigger make it heavier? I mean it'd have to be massive of course since it'd be made of light. I kind of want to try to make a hammer that stretches into the stratosphere. But really I just made a hammer out of light, which is impossible I believe, so I don't see why we've suddenly begun using sense again.

Get some distance from the crystal.

Put a high powered light laser through the air near the crystal, superheat and plasmatize said air, and let thermal expansion do the work.

What he's saying is that no matter how big you make it, it won't weigh anything. Zero times zero equals zero.

I just figured that since I had just made a hammer out of light that we weren't entirely obeying the laws of physics. The hammer was made of light, and was hard enough for me to hit things, so I figured that I had just altered its density, and that I could therefore make it heavier.

If you really want to bring physics into this, then increasing the density of photons in an area would not make it heavier, but hotter. And even if the light had mass, so that making it ridiculously huge could make it bring as much force as a regular hammer, then that force would be applied over a much larger surface area (since the hammer's bigger), negating the advantage of making it bigger.

((From the standpoint of physics, light does indeed have mass. Granted, it's so tiny we measure it in energy, but photons do indeed have mass. Of course, according to the fast and loose calculations I ran for GUNINANRUNIN, that's kind of a moot point.))

What would your bigger hammer do? It would still be more or less weightless, and while it would be heavier, its surface area would also be bigger. Yes, the square-cube law helps a little, but light is really friggin' light, so you still wouldn't be getting any appreciable weight until you got big enough that air-resistance-induced torque would be a bigger obstacle to swinging it.

What he's saying is that no matter how big you make it, it won't weigh anything. Zero times zero equals zero.
I just figured that since I had just made a hammer out of light that we weren't entirely obeying the laws of physics.
Magic has its own laws.

((From the standpoint of physics, light does indeed have mass.
And that is the only reason the light hammer weighs "effectively zero," not "exactly zero".

Plus, making a light-mass of that ridiculous size would probably go badly if you fudged a control roll...

Also, I'm using the little green die again.

Look for tools, like a shovel or maybe a hammer. Then start breaking up some of those crystals.
[4-0.4=4] You find a warhammer.
[6-0.2=6]
You use it to shatter a large crystalline structure!
[1]
Oh. Oh dear.
...Damn you little green die. MEDIC!

Get some distance from the crystal.

Put a high powered light laser through the air near the crystal, superheat and plasmatize said air, and let thermal expansion do the work.

Power: [4+1=5]
Control: [5-1=4]
You get the crystals to expand and shatter, clearing an area of them. Approaching to clear them away, you discover them to be a bit jagged ("handle with care" jagged, not "lose a finger upon contact" jagged) and warm. As is the air around it. Well, this counts as a success.

Keeping searching
"Stop running! No one going to hurt you! I promise!"
You forgot the fact that everyone inside would have silly voices. Oh well, MORE SEARCHING!
Kuroe: [1++0.2-1=1]
Angel: [6-1=5]
Kuroe can't find her tracks. Instead, she finds a nice, friendly bear. The bear is neither nice nor friendly.
Angel, on the other hand, finds a Selina in a ravine-a! ...Why is Selina taking off her clothes?

Selina pulls herself up, checking to see if any of her injuries need attending to despite how minor they seem, and then tries to see if theres a way to get out of the ravine.
[1] OH GOD YOU'RE GONNA DIE!
[6-0.2=6]
You promptly remove your clothing and use it as tourniquets for various parts of your body.
Your attempts to leave the ravine are impeded by the fact that you can't feel your limbs.
((Damn you little green die.))

Kyle frowns and tries to either adjust it to a less disturbing form or make it stop moving.
Power: [3+1+0.2-0.2=4]
Control: [4-1+0.2-0.4=2]
You make its tendrils and pseudopods into a mass of tentacles, and its central body more rounded, the whole thing covered with skin and having a few features. Now it just looks like an octopus and a sea anemone got drunk and had a kid. It's still dragging itself away from you.

I don't care what you say about the queen, the prince, or the flesh-monster Kyle's developing--the primary antagonist of this story seems to be my little green die.
