You're pretty sure he figured you were dead up until you killed three of his goons and set fire to his office, because if not, this is quite literally the worst possible way to offer you a job. Come to think of it, why exactly aren't you dead? Deader? You think about it again, and then you remember - he was bleeding, and your mouth kinda tasted like blood when you woke up.

Search the car for a trenchcoat, a hoodie, baseball caps, sunglasses. Pack these things in a backpack. Take your weapons and such as well. Take a bath, leave apartment, then go out and look for an abandoned building to squat in, or a cellar. Oh and don"t forget your watch.

Again, see maps.google.com and assume that you can get a bit over 100 miles, ignoring speed limits and traffic - you have good reflexes. Ventura to the west, Encitas to the south, Lebec to the north (Bakersfield is a bit too far), and Palm Springs or Victorville to the east.

edit: lets just drive to a hotel near the airport, let then we just got in and need to sleep off the jet lag.

Die because of the drinking of the blood? Or just die some other way? I've seen both ways in various stories. Sorry if I'm obsessive just curious. this is awesome sauce, boss!

[Vampire blood generally won't be fatal to ingest, it'll just make you sick for a day or two. However, if you die while it's in your system, you'll rise as a vampire of whatever bloodline bled into you. As a note, it doesn't specifically need to be drank - you can give someone a needle full of vampire blood and kill them as opposed to bleeding in an exposed orifice.

Fear vampires and Revenants can be pretty much any death aside from "Chunky Salsa Rule" and rise as undead; for everyone else, you should ideally have your head and heart mostly intact.
