Wipe our prints from the shotgun then drop it in a drain.

I'd suggest against dropping into a drain. Well, if it's a sewer/storm drain, anyway.

[Home is like... three blocks away, roughly. Parking is maybe 150 feet away. Yes, you do.]

ok so we have to go home , but that is the first place any new thugs will go looking for us.

i say that we take only the bear minimum of stuff, passport car, paper work, cash, weapons if we have any.
drive away and find some where to sleep.

You walk towards home, and briefly go to your knees when you're by the drain, as though you're adjusting your shoes. Quick as a snake, you whip off your belt, cinch it around the shotgun, and then start to tie it to the metal bar. You feel someone looking at you and mutter "Fucking shoe." The feeling of being looked at goes away, and you finish the job.

Hopefully that works...

You straighten up, look around, and fade off into Maguire Gardens, heading home. Before much longer, you're heading up the stairs, and finally start opening up your door. Once it's closed and locked behind you, you feel slightly safer, although you still make sure all of the windows are blocked. You've always liked your studio on the top floor. After all, it's filled with items that reflect your lifestyle. It's not just a place, it's home.

(Pick one, or invent something along these general lines.)

A) A very, very well-decorated home: you know what your boss gets up to and get paid mucho dinero for your discretion. ($2,500 cash, Underworld Contacts, Generic 4-Door)

B) It's always been sort of a... mess, but you've sure got a nice computer you spend most of your time doing less than legal things on. And everyone you know calls you for tech support and comes over so you can fix it.  (Hacking/Computer Skills, Night Owl, Van)

C) A typical city apartment, although you've managed to country it up a bit. (Outdoorsperson skills, 4WD truck, hunting rifle)

D) Because there's a pool just there, and great gym equipment. Lets you keep up on your martial arts. (Martial Arts, Supernatural Body 2, Electric Vehicle)

***

You look around and consider what you need. You might be safe here for another few hours, but thugs and thralls might just make that an issue once they figure out you're not dead-dead. You briefly wonder if you have a pet or not, and look about for evidence (and for what to take when you inevitably flee.)

Now what?

C. Jackie's from a hick family. We also have a cat named Gleeson after our favorite Irish actor. First things first, take a very quick shower. Then, change of clothes. Gather everything we need (I suggest Gleeson, hunting rifle, combat knife, change of clothes, and all the cold hard cash we have in case the bank cuts off our bank account.) and store it in the pick-up. This is phase one. In the next turn, we should probably we gather up all the evidence of crimes using rubber gloves into a nice big pile. We then flick the gas cooker on (We did try to make the place hickish, after all), cook up some eggs to make it look like we tried to make a midnight snack, light a candle, then drive the hell out of there before the whole place explodes. Badabing, the cops think we're dead and we just disposed of the incriminating evidence. Problem is, the cops are going to notice there's no body, but I'm going to roleplay here and assume Jackie Sato is operating off pop-culture logic here.

[I'm gonna let this one go on for a bit to get some more input. I mean, at the moment, she'd be an environmentally friendly country girl who loves fishing and hunting who does tai chi for working out.

I can totally roll with that, only I'd love to see the Bay12 insanity take hold. :D ]

I'll personally vote D, because I want to be able to punch people's arteries out of their bodies and strangle them with them.

I'd vote D, but can we please have something better than a crappy electric vehicle? Something like a sports-saloon?

Electric vehicles are really uncool and a real pain to 'refuel'.

Unless it is a McLaren P1.

Well we should look at changing wheel soonish any way, so lets have a Prius, with a shot gun rack behind us and cow horns on the front grill.
