You figure "Why the hell not" and "safety in numbers" and nod. He turns his hand up and a scale appears, with a pair of finely wrought figurines of you and himself standing on either end. The scale is heavily weighted towards his end. With a nod, the figure of him is replaced by one of Ruth. The scale bounces for a while, but settles at about the same place. There's a brief flash, rather as though he had taken a picture, and after that, you learn the appropriate gestures and passwords.

"Second question. We might have mentioned working for the state. We're actually with a specific organization concerned with law enforcement among the supernatural-" upon seeing your look, he adds quickly "No, we're not here for you or investigating you. In fact, our intentions are quite literally the opposite - are you interested in working for the BSI? There's many undead working with us on full, part-time, and temporary status. The pay is decent, great benefits, occasional moments of death, violence, mayhem, and intense nausea."

[I'm not dead, just busy. Sorry!]

"I'm not sure right now is the right time for, i'm mean just becoming a vampire and all my life is kind of a mess, i just whant to check in with my folks let'm know that i'l still walk about an all.
Look give me a number where i can contact about this BSI in a few days time."

Ask them about what benefits the BSI brings and what thay do? what are the law among the supernatural?

"Befits? Well, I won't bore you with health care, but that's actually part of it. Great dental. But you get more than enough blood donated to live on and empower yourself. Occasional hunting permits, where you can use your powers on mortals and drain them to the limit of our healers, provided you take them to a Bureau-approved location for such purposes. Otherwise, you're required to get consent before using powers, not kill, and get tested for AIDS every month. And what we do? Well... you know what laws exist about not killing people, not coercing them, don't steal, etc, etc. Well, some of us folks are better at it than others because some of us ain't human - vanilla human, anyway. We're sort of like the FBI and SWAT team, but for the supernatural."

Another exchanged glance.

"I'm a senior agent, weapons and tactics rated. Ruth is a special agent and isn't rated, but it doesn't matter for her. Both of us are in Investigations. She explains things to the nice police who want an answer like "large man on PCP in a costume with a sledgehammer" instead of "rampaging goat demon" and "foiled attempt by terrorists to unleash biological weapons" as opposed to "a Napoleon-era necromancer tried to unleash one of the Four Horsemen.""

Ruth continues.

"You'd work under and with us. We're officially unattached, which is to say: we do as we please and report back to the office every few weeks or whenever we need something. And we're on vacation from just having- done something and happen to be free. Perhaps you'd like to investigate your boss?"

She hands you a business card.

"Two days, starting now. Have a nice trip."

"Ayup. Nice trip. And third question - although you're neutral, I ask if you will serve the forces of Good, in the exact manner that a priest would ask someone to take that leap of faith. Since you're going to ask why, I'd point out to you that you are currently weak to a water balloon filled with holy water and don't dare show your face to the sun. And why should you? Well, are you a good person, whatever personal faith you may have?"

once there done i'll call you, it sounds like interesting work."

Ask her for a copy about what rules there are for vampires, is makeing some one a vampire a crime?

We really should get going to our bother.
