It mihgt just be the fact that I've been playing far too much Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. but as soon as I read that I was like, "Adventurer mastered Learning!"

...

Where are all the bloody demons!? I'm in hell which I can see because of the message and there are glowing pits, and I have seen evidence of them since there are a couple webs around, but I can't find any demons, the only one I found was back up a little bit in the cave entrance.

HOW CAN I DIE IN A BLAZE OF GLORY IF THERE ARE NO DEMONS!?

How do you even get to hell through adventure mode

You find a cave that leads into the caverns, find some downward passages and then look for an underground structure. Fight past the zombies, draw excalibur the candy cane from the floor and watch as a passage into the circus tent opens up and clowns pour forth to celebrate.

:olol. Try bringing 19 or so redshirts, they give you more time to attack the demons.

or if you ended up like me then when you find the underground structure get dissapointed that their are no zombies draw the blue sword and get grumpy because the demons don't consider you worth the time

Zombies aren't a guarantee. It may depend on your world-gen settings.

Demons don't zerg like they do in Fort Mode. It would be horrifying if they did, since there would be hundreds of them attacking you at once. Instead they just meander around the underworld like animals.

Never played Fort Mode before have you? You should have turned the map into a wasteland long before the circus tent opens up.

I'm guessing there's some sort of bug that prevents HFS from spawning en masse in Adventurer mode when you remove the Adamantine sword - as it is, all you get is the usual inhabitants of the Underworld (which are always there, even if you usually never see them).

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.
