I only suggested that the nonminimialists do it because they're the ones who would care in the first place; it's not a "badge of shame," it's "advertising to your target audience." Though I typically just judge by the game's OP

I thought the average minimalist game DID HAVE A UNIQUE TITLE FEATURE.

I thought the average minimalist game DID HAVE A UNIQUE TITLE FEATURE.
Well, that's only usually followed by people who actually know of that.
Quite a few minimalist games don't, either because the GM doesn't know that it's preferred, or that they simply don't care/want to make some argument that it isn't minimalist.

But really, I don't think a sub-board would be needed if, like Hellhound stated, they were just blatant about being minimalist.

Might as well chalk it up to Pathos.
As this point we might as well invoke interpretive dance and call it a day.

When I first looked at this board after a while, I though Einsteinian Roulette was dead. I looked at the title of this topic and though it was a necro from when the RtD board was first made. Boy, was I wrong.

Out of curiosity, what did happen on the modding forum? I congratulate piecewise on managing to get this done without fuss, but I'm considering returning to modding and would like to know what happened so I don't get shunned on it.

Separate boards for Masterwork DF, other mod releases, utilities, and tilesets were created, so that the main area could be used specifically for questions.  Masterwork got its own board because of how large it had gotten, having reached dozens of topics nearly as soon as it's sub-board was opened.

I'm pretty sure he was referring to the controversy over mine and Deon's boards.

That's what Toady was referring to with the "It's hard to say how it will turn out", but I was answering ElfCollaborator's question about what the current structure of the modding board is.
