Causeway Mining Co. (ISG)

With the blessings of the shareholders and the chairman of the board of directors, the Causeway Mining Co. has purchased the area around Mount Kilichee, due to favourable reports from prospectors. The establishment of the Cluster Mine is expected to be a wise investment for the company, and (as is standard practice) a group of skilled and intelligent experts has been assembled to oversee the mine. Unfortunately the experts are you fellows, the fine inhabitants of Bay12. Try not to fuck up too horribly, okay?

Let dig down at AA(building stairs as needed) and take the d's

Start digging out the large Dumin deposit, and one of the smaller Neumin deposits. Build staircases and platforms as necessary.

Hmm, we dont have much to dig with right now. I think we should

Hire 9 more laborers and another prospector, with their respective equipment. Have them mine out all  the current ores we can see, building stairs and platforms as needed.

Become Foreman Gwen Rannin.
The Foreman adjusts her cap, perched loosely as it always is atop her head of luscious auburn hair. She lights a cigar and flicks the burnt matchstick at the Labor Captain's thin nose. She speaks in a lilting accent through teeth that are clenched furiously.

What do yeh think yer doing puny boyo? I never said yew could take a break! We haven't even started yet! Ach!!
So GET BACK TO WORK!!!!

I want this entire hill cleaned out by sundown!


She gives the trembling Labor Captain a motivational kick in the arse and goes back to puffing moodily on her cigar.

Sell prospecting tool.
Hire 40 laborers and necessary pickaxes.
Strip mine rows 6-11, more if digging power allows.


$2500/day in salaries means we have to make at least $700 tomorrow or we're broke.

Let's run this hill into the ground, shall we?

Veto'd with GM powers, mostly because I don't want this game to end approximately three turns in. Sorry. Wait until you have better mining equipment before you start strip-mining. Right now it's not worth it.

To sell ore, you need to carry it out of the mine first. Each labourer can carry 3 tons of ore a turn, but won't be able to mine if they do so. Is this acceptable?

I would ask why fire can burn two men to death without getting hot enough to burn a book, but then I read "INEXTINGUISHABLE RUNNING KAMIKAZE RADIOACTIVE FLAMING ZOMBIE" and realized that logic, reason, and physics are all occupied with crying in the corner right now.
