Shields are empty, so you should add tower shields, the roman square shields whose-name-I-don't-know, at least.
You're probably thinking of scuta (singular form scutum).

For shields, even more important for this game would be the buckler. And you might want to include the aspis or hoplon, the iconic Greek round shield. And also the kite and/or heater shield.

Edit: Oh and while looking through my books at home, I found a flail weapon that doesn't really have much information available on it online, but I like the name enough, so
My book says it's from Gujarat, India, made under the rule of the Maratha Empire. It weighs 21/4 pounds (1.05 kg) and the shaft is 181/2 inches (46.8 cm) long.

Well, he'd just specialize in flails, really. I'm just getting a list together for the sake of what to stock the store with in THIS GAME THAT DOESN'T EXIST, I SAY AGAIN, DOES NOT EXIST.
