Something that gives me the advantage in battle?

If my knowledge of Shōnen anime is anything to go by, the Power of Friendship lets you get up time and time again, no matter the injury. Seems handy.

In case of depressing lack of friends, the Power of Love, Power of Good/Light or the Energy of Youth could act as adequate substitutes.

If colored backgrounds during fighting/power up scenes are available, or any sort of glow around the character depicting battle-readiness, go for blue rather then red, since blue has a shorter wavelength and thus has higher energy than red.

A syringe of shark adrenaline, or something of that sort.

Or maybe a 2000W spotlight on my shoulder. That would be nice, if heavy and hot. Failing that, a mighty flashbulb to blind people and appropriately punctuate my thunderous attacks.

Hmmm.

New question: Beyond Weapons, what other things would you take into battle? Things that are not specifically designed to injure someone, but could still give you an advantage in battle.
Fullplate armor.

Become Ethereal Shout from Skyrim.
A Bolo Battlescreen.
A banquet table.
Several different kinds of food.
Sand in my pocket.

"POCKET SAAAND!" *BLINDED*

and on another note,

The four Winds in a bag. Because, well, blow your enemies away and all that.
Aaand pretty much everything else was mentioned.

A good medic

I was going to say a sidekick.

I still am.

A sidekick.
Why not a whole goddamn anime entourage? First, you gotta cover your basics: a comic relief and/or tough guy who's not quite as good as you but pretty damn good in his own right and some chick who cheers you on all the time and you should probably get with but for some reason never do. Then you can mix and match from among the following: an old man (possibly your mentor), a cute talking critter, another chick who's hotter than the first one, another guy besides the comic relief and/or tough guy who qualifies for the tournament but gets beaten early on by the antagonists to show how tough they are, and former enemies/rivals that became your friends after you beat them.

Some other stuff I thought of:
Sunglasses to protect from blinding items or ki attacks
Steel soled shoes to protect your feet from caltrops (can also be used as weapons, especially if they have spikes on the bottoms)
Weighted clothes to take off in the middle of a match to demonstrate your true power
Precognitive powers (either from psionics, magic, or advanced computers)
Oil for lighting on fire or making the ground slippery

Him, I could also give troll logic pictures to the orks. That will help in some shape or form, probably mostly in new weapons.

Suggest things that you would hypothetically like to use. In a hypothetical game.

Hypothetically.

From the list, or from our own self? From the list I'd say a Mameluke sword. If not, a plate of glass.

I find most notably missing are the urumi, the meteor hammer, the monk's spade, and the bench. I suppose the punch dagger can be easily enough refluffed as a katar.

and also the stone axe.

It's not actually an axe, it's a teardrop shaped throwing discus with a sharpish edge. the pointy end aims down at the end of the throwing arc, and it has a pretty good range.
