Oh, yeah. Looking at the document again, there are no chakram. Actually, there are no throwing weapons explicitly mentioned, just the word "Thrown weapons". Other throwing weapons that should be included are: shuriken, darts, throwing knives and axes,  and boomerangs.

slings.

yes, slings.

p.s. they should be implemented in dwarf fortress. I want a sling squad, now.

Kusarigama.
I recently rewatched Soul Eater.
Not sure whether it would go under sickle, flail, thrown, or chain categories, though. Probably sickle AND chain, because it's described most of the time as a "Chain scythe".

If you want more flail weapons besides the basic flail, you could also include nunchaku and three-section staffs.

I actually made some raws to make slings out of leather and bullets out of rock.
I can dig them up if you want them.

Also, I have probably spent more time reading through piecewise's dropboxes than reading books.

Also also, where are my Swiss Arrows?

Might as well chalk it up to Pathos.
As this point we might as well invoke interpretive dance and call it a day.

Why use a sling or swiss arrow when you can throw mail boxes at them?

On this note, what skill would a giant pair of scissors use? You could even split them into two swords mid-battle!  :P

I'm also surprised scythes haven't been mentioned, even though they'd probably fall under 'polearms'.

Granted, two small scythes on a chain, but scythes nonetheless.

There's an entire category for scythes and sickles.

Admittedly it basically just has scythes, sickles and kamas.

The Great Swords section lacks a Claymore. And a Macuahuitl could be a fun addition to the Straight Swords section, even if it's more of a bladed club.

We'll call it a cleaver. Though it's more of a saw.

Then again, we have a Chainsaw under straight swords so the fuck do I know.
