((It's not the classes that are causing me to neglect posting...

I think the big problem that is going somewhat unsaid is that nothing is really driving the plot in the way of engagements; nor is there a fleshed out idea of what the moves the plot forward, or even if there is a plot. There is build up... Then sudden collapse of said tension, without any real test. I would say that we only ever had one real fight... And that was over in a turn. Attempts to follow up on since fight ended in relative failure. Since, there have been pushes for something to happen, but nothing ever really comes. There is no tension or forward motion which hurt my own personal drive to keep playing.

There are also no real uniting factors. Yes we all go to same school. But nothing forces us to work with each others personalities or motivates us to move on with the plot. We've had to build our plots, which has the innate danger of being very inclusive. There is a danger in relying on solely player interaction, especially when characters don't have a good reason to speak to each other or involve themselves in the affairs of their peers. This is a problem. Create situations where they are forced to interact. Maybe create... God Taskforces. Give missions. I don't know, allow yourself to exercise that creativity of yours!

Player accountability also plays a role, although the methods that you make sure players are taking actions differ. Have an idea of what you want, and go for it. Even if we are taking the diplomatic route, create ways where we can fail. Do checks for everything if you have to. At the end of the day, I think if you can keep some of these ideas in mind I think that it would help improve this game exponentially.))

((Well, I do have an idea for a mission type thing once Elf finishes what he's doing. Which may take a while. Because he only seems to be online consistently at midnight or later.))

((I shall wait until then probably, since Erden is still in the limbo of no post world. I assume he went to classes for now, but it would be kind of odd and forced if I just started doing things now out of blue. But I am still interested in seeing what happens next.))

Akira and co. approach Aoi.
"Hello, Aoi."
"Good morning, Kozuki-san."
Aoi seems uncomfortable as he sits down next to her.

Mr. Johnson adjusts his glasses as he subtlety watches the group.

Classes frustrated Erden. His fingers massaged his temples slowly as he tried to calm himself down. By Laschian standards, Erden was a bright individual. He had a decent curiosity that kept his will to learn at a healthy level. Even in his youth, he showed an aptitude for the stories and legends passed down on the mountain. In fact, it was a well regarded fact that if he were anyone else but the Son of the Mountain, this aptitude would have likely allowed him to become a Loremaster, a title held nearly as esteemed as those who were called "The Mountain".

However, his backwards nature of being raised out of the whole of society was beginning to show. Indeed, the first classes of his morning had not gone well.  Advanced Mathematics and the studies of this "science" had absolutely confounded him as he sat dumbly in the classrooms, mutely listening as his peers threw about complicated terms that caused his head to ache. He had sat there during the class hearing what was being said but not comprehending. What use is the law of gravity? If something falls, it falls. Why bother to ask why or how? To further his frustrations, his teacher had stopped him after the class was over and issued a warning. Improve or else. Apparently the teacher had no time for failures.

So he arrived at the library. Kyle Johnson was manning the desk. While Kyle may have thought his disguise clever, it was painfully obvious who he was. But it was not his place. Besides Erden had better things to do, such as studying. However, just as he grabbed his book of the shelf, men in suits barged in through the door. These were not students, this much was apparent. They made beeline for a girl... Who she was Erden didn't know. He only recognized her with great effort as someone he had seen around the school. She seemed uncomfortable. Taking the Tome of Mathematical Theory off the shelf, Erden sat down at study table. Erden kept one eye on the proceedings as he half heartedly began to attempt to decipher the eldritch lessons of Grothendieck's Galois theory.

Kyle winces at what Erden picks up and walks over to the younger man.
"Do you have troubles with maths?"

"Do you have troubles with maths?"

"Great trouble." Erden said, his eyes narrow and pinched. He wasn't quite certain just what he was looking at, but he was fairly certain that it didn't make sense. Field theory, group theory. Just what did it even mean? How did remotely apply to his life? Only bits and pieces of these theories made some semblance of sense. "It... It is nonsensical."

He paused in contemplation. "Much like your fake mustache. Who are you hoping to deceive Mr. Johnson?"

Erden allowed his gaze to stray from the mesmerizing power of nonsensical theorems. The girl again. He sighed, his mighty head shaking in a mix of confusion and disappointment. "One of your daughters I imagine?"

Kyle frowns.

Erden's lips curled downwards in reply to Mr. Johnson's remark. "She must solve her own problems. If it is her will to see them gone, then she should make it so immediately. The matter is as simple as that."

As he said so, his gaze turned back to the tome. The urge to smash his head betwixt it's pages rose up in his chest as his eyes twitched ever so slightly. "This muddle is incomprehensible."
