Erden was at the range; shotgun in his hand and shells in his freshly cleaned Tunic of Holding. Smelling like Lavender Rainforest and proud of it; there was only one thing holding him back. He didn't have slightest clue how to use a shotgun.

Granted, he had seen people fire such weapons before. But now that he had a shotgun in his hand, this knowledge meant nothing. Taking the shotgun aside, he began to examine it to see if he could get it to work.

It is for all intents and purposes a normal pump shotgun.

James chuckles and kisses Charlotte's cheek.

Erden glares at the gun a bit longer. Having figured out at least what type of gun it was, he was hoping to ascertained some manner of firing it. Unfortunately as it is many times, technology is not one of Erden's strong suits. However, determination eventually won out as he managed to sink a shell into the shotgun. With triumphant pleasure, he waltzes into the firing range and aims for the middle of one of the paper targets. (52+5 vs. 52)

The pump shotgun slams against him with a great deal of force, knocking him a bit off balance. However, it would appear that at least some of the bullet had hit the paper target for a glancing blow. Not as bad as a first shot as he was expecting. Erden celebrates by slowly going through the process of reloading and fires once more down range at the target. (63+5 vs. 24)

This time, whether by luck or merit, his aim was true, and the bullet tore through the paper target a few inches from the center. He grinned. If kept shooting like this, Mundy didn't stand a chance.

Enki is leaning on a wall at the firing range. He does a small clap.
"Good shot, sir."

A quick succesion of shots tear around the head of Erden's target. Mundy laughs and runs away.

Erden turns to nod at Enki. He bows slightly and says, "Thank you." There was an element of surprise to his visit. Afterall, Erden hadn't heard the little imp come in. No, he then thought. He shouldn't be insulting Enki, even if they were just idle thoughts. Any man who was an enemy of Mundy was an ally.

Lifting up the shotgun once more, he aimed his sights down the line. (81+5 vs 43) The shotgun resounded with a blast, but someone else had beaten him to the punch! The paper tears at the head, and it falls to the ground.

Erden turned in confusion, only to see the fleeing form of Mundy. His eye twitches. Quickly Erden took off into the hallway, trying to gather some sort of idea of where Mundy had gone using the Academy's seemingly magic floor.

Enki follows Erden into the hallway, looking in any direction that Mundy could've gone.

"I hate that man." Erden mutters.

"I'm starting to as well."

Charlotte's smile brightened as she heard both of their comments

Noam smiles, "Thanks a lot! So what am I learning next? Or are we taking a break or something?"

Erden was beginning to become fond of Enki.

Charlotte's hand went up to the cheek where he had kissed her, pausing for a moment. Not entirely sure what to say she turned to Noam notebook in hand.

'We could learn a bit more if you wanted to, it gets a bit more difficult from now on though with memorising signs for specific words'
