Charlotte let out a sigh and walked over to the table at the side of her bed picking up the picture of the woman that sat there. She traced a finger across the photo and mouthed sorry. Talking to James had brought back bad memories, if only she had managed to keep her promise for a bit longer maybe then... She shook her head, it was pointless thinking about it nothing could be done now. She could only make sure she didn't fail again, she would at least protect her friends. The mute girl set the frame back on the surface and flopped down onto her bed staring up at the ceiling.
