Erden wakes up feeling like he got hit by a truck. He didn't know how much a truck would hurt, but he assumed it was something like he was feeling right now. His head was reeling and his body felt like it was hit by a landslide. The last thing he remembered was stepping out of the garden. Everything after that was a blur. However, upon his side desk he found a note saying that he passed the test. He groaned audibly and got up.

Gnome would likely be interested in how his test went. A little advanced warning could save him a ton of pain. If his current state was any indication of how one feels after the test, then Gnome needed to be warned. The poor child probably wouldn't even wake up.

Erden lumbered through the garden door lurching and his head. He assumed more or less that the earth was taking him in the right direction towards Gnome but he couldn't be certain. High-pitched giggling was the first thing that greeted his ears. He dared not pass through the threshold. "Gnome, you in here?"
