God blinks.
"Well, I suppose I should have just corrected his erroneous thinking that he still needed a test then..."
Earth, closed his eyes.
"I'll explain his capacity for using my power. If one were to track a Geomancers strength, the first level would be able to hear my whisperings. The second stage would be to speak back to me. This is where Erden is. The third stage comes to pass when a Geomancer is prepared to let me speak through them. You've helped him along to this stage by unshackling his powers. Needless to say, he was not prepared for this and he is now sleeping.""If you still require a demonstration, this is my power." Earth snaps his finger. In the distance, a lone mountain range crumbles, snow and earth plummeting down the mountainside.
"Erden but has a frail fragment of this power. I did not give my powers to humans for them to misuse it like they always do. You yourself have seen the folly of humanity first hand. As far as I am concerned, it would be better if you simply erased them." He said, glowering.
"But since that will not happen, I will explain what Erden can do. He is a Geomancer who uses his physical powers to manifest mine. For instance... The Spirit raised his fist into the air and slammed it into the earth. Beneath his hand the earth shook and crumbled and a shockwave of air and stone ricocheted outward in a circle. A wall of solid spiked stone pushed out of the ground forming a barrier between him and God. Any man or creature that might have been standing there would have been utterly displaced by the pillar. With a bound, the Spirit of the Earth jumped upon it and continued his monologue.
"That is what he could do now at his peak. When performing at his worst, I either will not hear him speak or I don't care enough to lend him my powers. Is this a proper demonstration, or do I need to go further?"
