"Okay..." Noam suddenly wraps Aoi in a great big hug, "It's okay, we're here for you!"

"...If I must..." Erden was not a fan of this method. He could stand using his powers out of necessity or to help someone, but just idly wasting his strength was against his code of ethics. In fact, it made him incredibly nervous. But if he insisted, he would call to the earth and let it reply. "Then I shall."

Erden quickly adopted a martial stance. Beneath his feet the earth began to quiver and writhe. His eyes began to glow with an eldritch light. This was no longer Erden. This was the spirit of the Earth itself. His voice took on ethereal form; something else was speaking through him. When the shaking calmed, a runic formation was cut into the dirt around which Erden stood. The Spirit of the Earth was not in the mood to play games.

"Why have you returned."

((Sure thing. Currently, Noam is a snake person. Snake tail for a lower body, covered in iridescent purple scales, yellow eyes, silts for irises, etc. Also has an open and happy face, because this is Noam we're talking about.))
