James is very hands on when correcting things like posture but is very professional about it. He is also a rather good teacher.

Once Aoi looks at the writing, first of all, it's a very formal form of handwriting. Second, it's a log of what has happened so far with him, and the few people he calls friends. Of course, due to Enki spending most of his time that involved friends with Aoi, that's what most of the writings involve. It mentions that she is definitely someone that he would like to know a bit better, along with a couple of the others.
