Noam hugs back, wrapping its tail around Charlotte. Its scales are hard but smooth instead of rough.

Charlotte released Noam and smiled at them, she would have let the hug last longer but she needed her hands to speak.

James blinks.
"Fun fact. Not even god understands where things like them come from. On the other hand if you look hard enough here you can even find pokemon so it all evens out."

James pulls his hand out of his pocket and looks around.
"That was a fun little distraction."

She began signing towards James

'It wasn't exactly what I'd call fun and how can God not understand? Isn't he meant to be all powerful or something?'

Charlotte released Noam and smiled at them, she would have let the hug last longer but she needed her hands to speak.

Noam slowly uncoils from around Charlotte's legs, "So what are we doing now?"

Charlotte frowned at this

'Because not believing in something doesn't mean you should be punished for it, if the only reason he doesn't punish them is because he is not all powerful then he isn't exactly a good god.'

Noam slowly uncoils from around Charlotte's legs, "So what are we doing now?"

Charlotte continued to sign towards James making clear that the next signs were for Noam and hoping he would translate

'Maybe go back to academy it's not exactly safe here'

"When did I say god was the one not smiting them? There are others. Which is why he made humans more and more resistant to their influences... Until the powers thing. Then they could defend themselves."

Charlotte nodded and sighed

'I'm sorry I keep on forgetting there are other gods'

"Yeah, the bible is mostly right in the telling of history. I believe it is mentioned how God is simply that powerful compared to all other gods. That's also why the US kept getting incompetent leaders for a while and nearly dissolved. Then god wakes up... needless to say most gods were absorbed in the snacking that followed."
James turns to Noam.
"Now? Nothing. Also unrelated, my father would probably find that look very attracted if it weren't for you age."

James turns to Noam.
"Now? Nothing. Also unrelated, my father would probably find that look very attracted if it weren't for you age."

Noam looks confused, "Huh?"

Noam waves at Calvin with a clawed hand, "Not much!"

Noam tugs on James's shirt, "What did you mean before?"

((Snake person, basically. Snake tail for a lower body, covered in purple scales, silts for iris, etc.))

James coughs looking away.

James looks around.
"Well, we could go out and beat things up. Look for Excaliber. Or if we're feeling up to the challenge, we could try and find some of the other human made monsters/things."

Noam... slowly uncurls from its ball, having changed quite a bit durings its time curled up. Its entire body is covered in the same purple and iridescent scales as its tail, and Noam's hands have wicked-looking claws. Noam's eyes are also bright yellow now, with a slit pupil like a reptile.
