Arya continues playing with her fingers. She is probably aware of that fact.

Making note of the awkward silence, Erden continues on. "It is not wise to fall in love so quickly, especially when you do know fully know the other whom you have affections for. However..." He took a deep breath.

"If it is the first step, I would not mind to get to know you and your people further."

Arya nods.
"I don't see why not."

Charlotte was still in town with James wondering what she should do, after a while of thinking she decided.

'James, do you know where I could get a weapon?'

"I believe reqcrisitions would have something.

"Perhaps then, after my ability test, you would join me in The City?"

'Thank you, I'm not that experienced with fighting but I'll need one if we run into those things again'

"Have you thought of maybe a long gun or something? I think they hand out muskets or blunderbusses for free."

Arya nods.

Erden nodded, turning to the dirt. Digging a small hole with his hands he gingerly placed the flower into the ground and drew a small circle of earth around it. "Where shall I find you?"

'That could work, I've never exactly fired a gun before but it can't be too difficult'

"Then I'll start you on a blunderbuss."

Arya thinks for a moment.

Erden smiled. "It shall be done." Turning back to the dirt, he placed his palm deep into the soil. "Until then, let this be a sign between us."

The earth quivered and twisted about the flower. "That should help it to grow."
