God says no.
Well, yes, that's the problem. And trying to convince Him to do it has a higher chance of ending in vaporization than success.

Senses don't need to be restored... You just have methods of coping.
And does coping really make you any better? Or even as good? And if it makes you better, why not continue to "cope" after getting your senses restored?

Example: Charlotte. She's screwed if she needs to communicate in darkness, or smoke, or from another room, or something. I can think of a number of scenarios where being unable to talk could be lethal. And if she got her voice back, she could still learn and use ASL for when silent communication is useful.

Bang. Stomp. Clap clap clap. Bang. Stomp. Clap clap clap. Whistles. Whistling. The mute aren't always mute. Unless you wish to suggest that she is tied to a chair. But even then, gagging already works on people who can speak.

It stands that you might be as good as others... But it doesn't make you useless or completely screw someone over in life or death scenarios.

Edit: As a counter argument, does having to cope with something imply that a person is inherently worse?

Alternatively, just give her a mindlink bracelet or something.

That is one idea. If I were to go that route, I would likely put some kind of limitation on it, such as the idea that it only works if someone wears a matching device.

One thing I wonder though... When I think in my head, I hear my own voice going through the motions. But what voice does someone who doesn't have a voice of their own use?

In a certain game I participate in, that IS exactly the system we use.

In a certain game I RUN and should really finish up the main plot for so people don't have to resort to angels invading australia, that IS exactly the system we use.

I assume she would probably just invent a voice for herself, I'm really not sure though.

As to the first half: Those are hardly good at giving particularly detailed information, and some would be pretty hard to tell that she was even trying to get some point across.
As to the second: Not all of them involve successfully being captured. And let's face it, in a comic book universe, it's even odds if they'll bother to gag you.

Yes. It's kinda in the definition of "cope". You don't cope for being extremely smart unless people in your town burn smart people as witches.

Alternatively, just give her a mindlink bracelet or something.
Wrong universe, and it doesn't help her if she needs to warn literally anyone except teammates. Or if the people she needs to contact have their bracelets off, or blocked everyone because they value not listening to other people talk over being able to hear people calling for help.

One thing I wonder though... When I think in my head, I hear my own voice going through the motions. But what voice does someone who doesn't have a voice of their own use?
Or someone who can't hear?

And for that matter, do I see the color red the same way you do?

3. Yes. It's kinda in the definition of "cope". You don't cope for being extremely smart unless people in your town burn smart people as witches.

One thing I wonder though... When I think in my head, I hear my own voice going through the motions. But what voice does someone who doesn't have a voice of their own use?
4. Or someone who can't hear?

And for that matter, do I see the color red the same way you do?

1. Detailed information no, information yes. I don't consider this point refuted. Communicating something, anything can be vital.

2. Not sure quite what you are getting at. O.o

3. I disagree here entirely. Having a disability does not render a man useless for life. Stephen Hawking for instance. In a comic sense, Professor Xavier or Daredevil. One is brilliant, the other a great leader, and the third able to fight crime blind. Franklin Delano Roosevelt pulled the nation through the Great Depression despite being rendered disabled via polio. Helen Keller was still quite able to make life for herself despite being both deaf and blind. I would not dare call them worse than the average man for their contributions. In the grand scheme of things, I would actually say that they were more important then perhaps an able bodied steel mill worker in Georgia.

Having to cope with something can also make someone stronger or change them into the person they need or want to be. And there are times that people don't have to cope much, and they still turn out pretty well for themselves. But to say that someone who copes with an issue is inherently worse off than someone else is silly, especially given that they can make a life for themselves.

4. Well I suppose that depends. Do you have any visual deficiencies or such that I need to be aware of? Or do you mean symbolically, as in that I see something different in red that you don't see?

1. Again, there are plenty of scenarios where "Clap! Clap!" does not provide a sufficient level of detail to be helpful. Maybe if everyone learned a special clapping code, but that requires spending time on that rather than learning or doing other things.

2. I'm saying that there are scenarios where talking helps that are NOT being caught by supervillains.
And that some villains are stupid. Fact of the genre.

3. Did I say that it made them useless? No, I merely said it makes them less able. Which is, again, the definition of a disability.

4. I mean symbolically. For all we know, I might see blue the way you see red and vise versa. No practical issues, it's just pure philosophy.
