Prefects will stop her if she does dark bullshit that works.
That's one out of four. What about weapons--okay, maybe that's not so important when people can throw fireballs and stuff, but what about pets and vandalism? Pentagrams presumably are made out of something.

Including what mad man would have allowed her into this school.
Who, God?
*insert comment offensive to Christians due to mocking God with Bible verses*

Before you ask G-' he is referring to God most likely' doesn't just restore the senses as it wouldn't help heroes learn to be the best they can be.'
That's a stupid explanation. Wouldn't it make sense for them to get back those abilities whose loss doesn't actually improve their ability to act or learn any?
Of course, *continue offending Christians (and Jews and Muslims, I guess)*

'God gives them special treatment to be able to fix stuff like that in return for favors.'
*Continue offending theists with comparisons to actual Bible verses*

"I hope it's not armor..."
I foresee...issues.

"Before you ask yes, most of the other Johnsons are my kids."
Half-siblings, I'm guessing?

"Bleh. Could we go to the beach or something for you to try it?"
Salt water and amphibians don't mix...

I've learned to question everything in character, mostly under the suspicion that very little about this situation is making proper sense.

After all, why would anyone ask Erden if he needed armor? Erden will deflect arrows by shear force of manliness. Armor is for the meek!

Yup. It's already sillier than the original. Which contained all the silliness of comic book supers rolled into one school.

It's not very inspiring to the people without powers that were born with disabilities to not have any heroes like them is it?

I think good stories have heroes overcoming trials in spite of flaws, rather than getting rid of them conveniently. What makes some characters interesting is that they cope and overcome the obstacles that were placed in their way. Disabilities are rarer, but there are heroic characters who started off in poverty or as a branded member of society.

True, but...well, how many comic book superheroes have significant disabilities? The only one I can think of is the blind Daredevil, and his power is "Not being affected much by blindness".

Indeed. That doesn't mean, however, that the character's flaws make him stronger, or that it would be logical for them to avoid methods to fix them.

Okay. If you can find an in character method of restoring senses go right ahead.

"Hey, God?..."

There's a sleepy looking man at the counter and a Disney movie playing on the TV.
"Bloody hell, not even one of the good ones. Give me Grimm any day..." She mumbles to herself, looking around.
This leads to me wondering what kind of Disney movies would exist in such a world. First off, The Incredibles would most likely not have been made.

Senses don't need to be restored... You just have methods of coping.

For instance, I'll use Charlotte as an example. She can neither speak in the normal sense. And yet, she does. If you are looking to look outside the box. I don't want to say too much, as I hope to eventually address this fact in character.

On a side note, I like Jacque. She seems like a pleasantly insane character.

God says no.
Well, yes, that's the problem. And trying to convince Him to do it has a higher chance of ending in vaporization than success.

Senses don't need to be restored... You just have methods of coping.
And does coping really make you any better? Or even as good? And if it makes you better, why not continue to "cope" after getting your senses restored?

Example: Charlotte. She's screwed if she needs to communicate in darkness, or smoke, or from another room, or something. I can think of a number of scenarios where being unable to talk could be lethal. And if she got her voice back, she could still learn and use ASL for when silent communication is useful.
